Meryem Uslu (born 13 February 1987) is a German female kickboxer who has fought for the Glory kickboxing title against Tiffany van Soest. [3] [4] [5] [6] She is the former Wu Lin Feng World 55 kg champion.

Kickboxing career

In 2012 Uslu fought Lucy Payne for the KORE MMA Bantamweight Muay thai title. Payne defended the title by a unanimous decision. [7] Later in the year, she fought Caley Reece for the WMC Women's World Featherweight Championship. Reece won the fight by unanimous decision. [8] She also challenged Kim Dewulf for the IMC Muay Thai World title. Uslu won by unanimous decision.

In 2014 she fought Yang Yang for the Wu Lin Feng 55 kg title. Uslu won the title by a unanimous decision. [9] In her next fight she fought Carol Earl for the WKF World 54.5 kg title. [10] Uslu won the fight by unanimous decision. Uslu entered the Enfusion Season 5 Tournament, but lost to Marina Zueva in the first round. [11]

Uslu made her first title defense of the Wu Lin Feng title against Xu Zhurong during Day of Destruction 10, and won a unanimous decision. [12]

Uslu fought Anissa Meksen for the vacant WBC Muaythai World Bantamweight championship, but failed to win title. [13]

In 2017 Uslu fought for two world titles. She first challenged Iman Barlow during Lion Fight 34 for the Lion Fight Super Bantamweight World title, [14] but lost the fight by unanimous decision. [15] Her second title challenge was for the Glory Women's Super Bantamweight Championship, [16] but lost in the fourth round by TKO. [17]

Anissa Meksen is a French-Algerian kickboxer, Muay Thai fighter, Savateur, and boxer. She currently competes in ONE Championship. She is the reigning ISKA World K1 Bantamweight champion, reigning WAKO World K1 Bantamweight champion, former two-time Glory Super Bantamweight champion, former WPMF World Muay Thai Flyweight champion, and former French, European, and World Savate champion. As a boxer, she won the vacant France Female Super Bantamweight title.

The year 2019 was the eighth year in the history of Glory, an international kickboxing promotion. The first event of the year, Glory 63: Houston, would also be the first to be broadcast on UFC Fight Pass as part of a new agreement with the UFC that saw their Fight Pass streaming service become the exclusive carrier of Glory events in the United States. Nadthawan Panthong, known professionally as Stamp Fairtex, is a Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial artist from Thailand. She is currently signed to ONE Championship, where she is the reigning ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Champion. She is the organization's first three-sport world champion, having also held the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship and ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship.
