Michael Hansen (born 22 September 1971) is a Danish former professional football player, who played in the midfielder position. He played 40 games and scored two goals for various Danish youth national teams, and competed with the Denmark national under-21 football team at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He played for a number of Danish teams, including Silkeborg IF, Odense Boldklub, Esbjerg fB, and FC Midtjylland. He ended his playing career in 2006.
As a youngster he played for B1938. He shifted to B1901 - Nykøbing in 1985, where he immediately showed his skills. He was offered a professional contract a few years later and made his debut in the first team when he was only 16. When he was 18 he joined Næstved a team in the Danish Superliga.
He was the manager of the 1. division club Skive from 2008 to 2013.
He replaced Ove Pedersen as manager of FC Vestsjælland on 1 July 2014. His first season as manager of FC Vestsjælland ended in relegation from the Danish Superliga. Following af poor start to the 2015-16 Danish 1st Division he was sacked on 1 September 2015.
In August 2018 he became manager of Silkeborg IF until the end of the 2018-19-season. In August 2020 he was named new manager of FC Fredericia.

Silkeborg Idrætsforening, is a professional football club based in Silkeborg, Denmark. The club was founded in 1917, reached the highest level of Danish football in 1987, and afterwards became one of the most successful football clubs in Denmark. They won the 1993–94 Danish Superliga, finished third in 1994–95, 2000–01, and 2021–22, 2nd in 1997–98, and won the Danish Cup in 2001 and 2024. Silkeborg has participated in Europe several times, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996.
Thomas Christopher Røll Larsen is a retired Danish professional footballer. He played 293 games in the Danish Superliga with Silkeborg IF, F.C. Copenhagen, FC Midtjylland, and Vejle Boldklub, winning the international 1996 Intertoto Cup and a Danish Cup trophy with Silkeborg IF as well as three Superliga championships with F.C. Copenhagen. He also played eight matches for the Danish national team, scoring once.
Michael Lumb is a Danish footballer who plays as a left-back for Danish 3rd Division club Holbæk B&I.
Peter Kjær is a Danish former professional footballer, current television commentator, and former sporting director of Silkeborg IF. During his active career as a goalkeeper, he played the bulk of his career with Danish clubs Vejle Boldklub and Silkeborg IF. He played for Turkish club Beşiktaş before ending his career with Aberdeen in Scotland, retiring in 2003. He played for the Denmark national team in four matches.
Kent Nielsen is a Danish professional football manager and former player, who is currently the head coach of Silkeborg IF. He was named coach of the year by the Danish Football Association in 2014 after winning both the Danish Superliga and the Danish Cup with AaB. He started his coaching career as caretaker manager of AGF, before getting his breakthrough with AC Horsens, guiding the club to promotion to the top-flight Superliga championship in 2005. He has also coached Superliga clubs Brøndby IF and OB.
Morten Bruun is a Danish former professional footballer who played his entire career for Silkeborg IF. With them, he won the 1993–94 Danish Superliga and 2001 Danish Cup trophies. He played 424 matches and scored 35 goals for the club from 1988 to 2001. He played 11 games for the Denmark national football team, and was an unused substitute when Denmark won the Euro 1992 tournament.
Bora Živković is a Danish former professional football player and current coach of Serbian ancestry. He has played 310 games in the Danish Superliga, representing Silkeborg IF for the majority of the games. He has won the 1994 Danish championships and 2001 Danish Cup with Silkeborg, as well as two Danish championships and the 2004 Danish Cup with F.C. Copenhagen.

Jesper Thygesen is a Danish football director, commentator, and former player. From 1991 to 2005, Thygesen played 296 games and scored 45 goals in the Danish Superliga. He played in the midfielder position, and represented Ikast FS, Silkeborg IF, Brøndby IF, and Randers FC, winning the 1998 Superliga and 1998 Danish Cup with Brøndby. He played 27 national youth team games, and represented the Denmark League XI national football team on seven occasions in 1997 and 1998.
