Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya is a Ugandan politician and physician who was the seventh vice president of Uganda from 23 May 2003 until 23 May 2011. He has represented the constituency of Busiro County North in the Ugandan Parliament since 1996. His autobiography, Intricate Corridors to Power, was published in 2008.

Before that, he served as the State Minister of Health for Primary Care from June 2006 until February 2009. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped and replaced by Mwesigwa Rukutana. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for West Budama South Constituency, Tororo District, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national elections, he lost to Jacob Marksons Oboth, an independent politician.
The Kampala–Jinja Highway is a road in Uganda, connecting the cities of Kampala and Jinja. Sometimes referred to as Kampala–Jinja Road, it is a busy road, with several towns, trading centers and other points of interest along the way. As of October 2016, a new, wider, four-lane dual carriageway expressway, the Kampala–Jinja Expressway, is proposed to be constructed south of the present highway to relieve traffic and complement existing transport infrastructure between Kampala and Jinja.

He has previously served as Cabinent Minister of Gender and Social Issues from 1 March 2015, until 6 June 2016. Previously he served as Minister of Security from 27 May 2011 until 1 March 2015. Muruli Mukasa also serves as the Member of Parliament for Budyebo County in Nakasongola District.
Stephen Chemoiko Chebrot is a Ugandan physician and politician. He is the current State Minister for Transport in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Simon Ejua, who was dropped from the Cabinet. In the cabinet reshuffle of 1 March 2015, he retained his cabinet portfolio. Stephen Chebrot also serves as the elected Member of Parliament for "Tingey County", in Kapchorwa District.
Christine Hellen Amongin Aporu is a Ugandan educator and politician. She served as the State Minister for Teso Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. She represented Kumi District in Parliament as a women's representative.
Judith Babirye is a Ugandan gospel musician and politician. She is a senior pastor at "New Life Deliverance Church", in Makindye Division, in the southeastern part of Kampala, Uganda's capital city.
Julius Wandera Maganda, also Julius Maganda, is a Ugandan politician. He was the State Minister for East African Affairs in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, serving there until May 2021.

She was elected back to the eleventh Parliament representing Amuru District under FDC political party. Lillian Nakate Segujja commonly Lillian Nakate, is a Ugandan civil engineer and politician who serves as the Member of Parliament representing the Luweero District Women' Constituency in the 10th Parliament.
Richard Sebamala, is a Ugandan civil engineer, businessman and politician who serves as a Member of Parliament representing Bukoto Central constituency in the 11th Ugandan Parliament. He was elected on 14th January 2021 during the 2021 Uganda general elections.
Aloysius Mukasa TG is a Ugandan entrepreneur, politician and Member of Parliament representing Rubaga South, Kampala District in Uganda's 11th Parliament (2021-2026). He is a member of the opposition party, National Unity Platform (NUP) and a diehard supporter of the People Power, Our Power movement.
