Microphone is a song by Darin Zanyar [1] from his album Lovekiller. The song was not released as an official single but due to strong digital downloads of the song upon the release of Darin's album Lovekiller on 18 August 2010, the song entered on Swedish Charts at number 16 on the week of 27 August 2010. The song peaked at number 15 on the third week.

"Microphone" was written and produced by Darin and Tony Nilsson. Microphone was first heard live on 14 August 2010 when Darin performed the song on Sommarkrysset 2010. Darin performed the song across Sweden to promote the album Lovekiller. The song had been used in a promotional video for the 2010 season of Idol.

Darin Zanyar, known simply as Darin, is a Kurdish-Swedish singer-songwriter born in Stockholm. He is one of Sweden's best-selling artists, with seven number one albums.

Agnes (singer) Swedish recording artist (born 1988)

Agnes Emilia Carlsson, known mononymously as Agnes, is a Swedish recording artist. She rose to fame as the winner of Idol 2005, the second season of the Swedish Idol series. She was then signed to Sony Music, through which she released her self-titled debut album, Agnes, and follow-up, Stronger, both of which topped the Swedish Top 60 Albums Chart. In early 2008, it was announced that Agnes had parted ways with her record label, and was now signed to small independent label Roxy Recordings. Released on 28 October 2008, her third album, Dance Love Pop, reached number five in Sweden, 70 in Austria, 38 in France, 45 in Switzerland and 13 in the United Kingdom. With 200,000 albums sold worldwide this is her most successful album, 50,000 albums were sold in France, 40,000 in Sweden. Its first two singles, "On and On" and "Release Me" became international hits, reaching the top-ten in charts worldwide. "Release Me" topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs and peaked at three in the United Kingdom, selling over 900,000 copies worldwide.

If I Were a Carpenter (song) 1968 single by Four Tops

"If I Were a Carpenter" is a song written by Tim Hardin. Hardin's own recording of the piece appeared on his 1967 album Tim Hardin 2. It was one of two songs from that release performed by Hardin at Woodstock in 1969. The song has been covered a number of times by other artists. It was partly inspired by the construction of a recording studio for Hardin, in the home of Lenny Bruce, and by his love for actress Susan Morss.

David Jassy

David Moses Jassy, also known as Dawda, is a Gambian/Swedish musician, songwriter and music producer of mixed Gambian and Estonian origin. With Andrés Avellán, he was part of a Swedish R&B hip hop duo, Navigators in the late 1990s. After split up of the group, Jassy went on to writing music and producing a number of international acts such as Ashley Tisdale, Sean Kingston, Eve, No Angels, Mohombi, Darin, Charice, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Heidi Montag and many others. He is the founder of Jassy World Entertainment, a music production and publishing company. From 2010 to 2020 Jassy served a life sentence in prison for the murder of John Osnes in an unprovoked attack. On March 27, 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom commuted Jassy's sentence to time served and he was released from prison on parole.

Darin is the second studio album by Swedish singer/songwriter Darin. It was released on September 28, 2005 in Sweden and features the singles "Step Up", "Want Ya!" and "Who's That Girl?". The album became Darin's second number one album, with the first being The Anthem. Darin is also the only of Darin's albums to be released in Finland.

"Breathing Your Love" is a song by the Swedish singer Darin featuring vocals by American singer Kat DeLuna and the first single from Darin's fourth studio album, Flashback. The song is co-written by Darin with RedOne, Bilal Hajji and Novel was released to radio stations and as a digital download in Sweden on 8 October 2008. The single was released in Finland and is also the first single from Darin to be released in the United Kingdom, which it was in January 2010. In October 2009 Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang took 2 copies of the single into space with him, as his daughter is a Darin fan. "You're Out of My Life" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Darin and was Darin's entry in Melodifestivalen 2010. The song was first performed in Deltävling 3 of Melodifestivalen in Göteborg on 20 February 2010 where Darin reached second place and progressed to the final on March 13 in Stockholm. The single was released on February 28, 2010. This is Darin's first physical single release since his departure from Sony Music.

<i>Love CPR</i> 2011 studio album by September

Love CPR is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer September. It was released digitally on 14 February 2011 in Sweden by Catchy Tunes, with a physical release two days later. Producers that worked on the album include Jonas von der Burg, who worked with September on almost all of her songs, StoneBridge, Lucas Secon, Cutfather and Jaakko Salovaara of Darude fame. The album was mastered by Björn Engelmann at Cutting Room Studios. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with many calling it more pop than her previous work. The album debuted at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart and was eventually certified double platinum in Sweden for shipments of 80,000 copies.

Mikrofonkåt is a Swedish song written by Swedish rappers Thomas Rusiak and Petter, originally performed by Petter. Taken from Petter's album Mitt sjätte sinne, Mikrofonkåt was ranked #53 on the Swedish Singles Chart in 1999.

Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, known professionally as Loreen is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and record producer. Representing Sweden, she won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, with her entry "Euphoria". The song reached number one in several countries, including Germany and Sweden.
