Milligan is an unincorporated community in Okaloosa County, Florida, United States. Milligan is located at the junction of U.S. Route 90, (State Road 10) and State Road 4, 4 miles (6.4 km) west-southwest of Crestview.

Okaloosa County is a county located in the northwestern portion of the U.S. state of Florida, extending from the Gulf of Mexico to the Alabama state line. As of 2015, the population was 198,664. Its county seat is Crestview.

Maulty Moore, is a former professional American football defensive tackle who played for five seasons with the Miami Dolphins, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Undrafted on graduating Bethune-Cookman College in 1970, he began a year of conditioning that added 50 pounds to his undersized frame before trying out for the Dolphins as a free agent. He was signed to the Dolphins' taxi squad in 1971, and promoted to special teams the next year. He blocked a Roy Gerela field goal attempt during the Dolphins' 1972 AFC Championship Game victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Waived by the Dolphins in 1975, he spent a year with the Bengals before finishing his career in 1976 with the then expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moore went on to teach in the Broward County school system.

State Road 123 is a north–south state highway that bypasses the stretch of State Road 85 through Niceville, Florida. The highway is a more direct route to Fort Walton Beach from points north. With flyover ramps at both intersections of SR 85 now completed, the highway has been widened into a 4-lane divided highway.
The Mid-Bay Bridge is a 141-span, 3.6-mile (5.8 km), two-lane toll bridge in Okaloosa County in the Florida Panhandle. It connects U.S. Highway 98 in Destin to State Road 20 in Niceville. The bridge generally runs north-south; the approaches to the bridge carry the State Road 293 designation while the bridge itself carries the TOLL 293 shield.
State Road 4 is a two-lane state highway in Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties in the western corner of the Florida Panhandle. It is signed east–west, but the road is slightly diagonal.
