Mindless Self-Indulgence is the debut studio album by the American industrial rock band Mindless Self Indulgence. The album was originally released on September 18,1995 through Chip Records. The album only features singer James Euringer vocals,alongside his brother Markus Euringer on bass,with Steve Montano featuring on guitar on the track "Bed of Roses".[1] Only around 300 copies were printed onto CD,as it was never sold commerically.[citation needed] It was preceded by a promotional cassingle of the track "Do Unto Other Part II",with a B-side track "Bed Of Roses". Only around 50 copies of this cassingle were printed.[citation needed]
Euringer said that the album was "just some old-ass freshness of me trying to sound like Nine Inch Nails,along with a pointless clean version and an extended track to piss people off".[citation needed]

The cover for the album was made by Jennifer Dunn,who would go on to join Mindless Self Indulgence as a drummer. The album cover features a woman with a mechanical arm molesting a young girl holding a teddy bear,atop a red background,with the band's name written on the bottom.
