The Minister for Government Coordination (Swedish : Samordningsminister) is a cabinet minister within the Swedish government who is appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden.

Contents

The minister is responsible for coordinating the government and being the Prime Minister's courier to the other ministries. [1] The last minister for Government Coordination was Ibrahim Baylan, whose term ended on 21 January 2019.

Ibrahim Baylan is a Swedish politician who served as Minister for Schools from 2004 to 2006, as Minister for Energy from 2014 to 2019, Minister for Policy Coordination from 2016 to 2019 and as Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation from 2019 to 2021.

The Cabinet of Malaysia is the executive branch of the Government of Malaysia. Led by the Prime Minister, the cabinet is a council of ministers who are accountable collectively to the Parliament. According to the Article 43 of the Federal Constitution, members of the Cabinet can only be selected from members of either houses of Parliament. Formally, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong appoints all Ministers on the advice of the Prime Minister. The constitution is amended by repealing the Clause (8) of Article 43, enabling a person who is a member of State Legislative Assembly to continue to serve even while serving as a minister or deputy minister in the cabinet. Ministers other than the Prime Minister shall hold office during the pleasure of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, unless the appointment of any Minister shall have been revoked by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister but any Minister may resign from office. In practice, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is obliged to follow the advice of the Prime Minister on the appointment and dismissal of ministers.

Anwar bin Ibrahim is a Malaysian politician who has been the 10th and current Prime Minister of Malaysia since 2022. He served as the 12th and 16th Leader of the Opposition from 2008 to 2015, and again from 2020 to 2022. In the 2018 Swedish general election, no political group or party won an outright majority, resulting in a hung parliament. On 9 September, the Red-Greens, led by Stefan Löfven's Social Democrats (S), emerged as the main political force in the Riksdag, while the centre-right Alliance led by Ulf Kristersson's Moderate Party only got one seat less. The right-wing populist party Sweden Democrats, led by Jimmie Åkesson, came third. As a result, protracted negotiations were required before a new government formation. On 18 January 2019, Löfven was re-elected as prime minister.

The National COVID-19 Commission Advisory Board (NCC) was the Australian Government strategic advisory board for the national economic recovery to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally formed as the National COVID-19 Coordination Commission on 25 March 2020, Prime Minister Scott Morrison described the body as responsible for advising the government on public–private partnerships and coordination to mitigate the social and economic impacts of the pandemic in Australia. On 22 July 2020, the commission was renamed the National COVID-19 Commission Advisory Board to better reflect the advisory, not executive, nature of the body.

The Anwar Ibrahim cabinet is the current federal cabinet of Malaysia, formed on 3 December 2022, nine days after Anwar Ibrahim took office as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Katarina Köhler is a Swedish politician, teacher and former member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Social Democratic Party, she represented Västerbotten County between October 2010 and September 2018. She had previously been a substitute member of the Riksdag for Ibrahim Baylan twice: October 2006; and September 2007 to December 2007.
