The Northern Territory Minister for Health is a Minister of the Crown in the Government of the Northern Territory of Australia. The minister administers their portfolio through the Department of Health. [1]
The Minister is responsible for adult guardianship, alcohol and other drug services, alcohol management plans, alcohol policy, alcohol treatment and rehabilitation, community service complaints, food standards, health (including hospital and medical services), health complaints, human quarantine, mental health services, morgues, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) implementation, services to the aged, services to the disabled, sexual assault services, university medical education and research and water quality. They are also responsible for the Menzies School of Health Research, the Health and Community Services Complaints Commission and the Public Guardian. [1]
The current minister is Natasha Fyles (Labor). She was sworn in on 12 September 2016 following the Labor victory at the 2016 election. [1]

Clare Majella Martin is a former Australian journalist and politician. She was elected to the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly in a shock by-election win in 1995. She was appointed Opposition Leader in 1999, and won a surprise victory at the 2001 territory election, becoming the first Labor Party (ALP) and first female Chief Minister of the Northern Territory. At the 2005 election, she led Territory Labor to the second-largest majority government in the history of the Territory, before resigning as Chief Minister on 26 November 2007.
Katherine Ruth Gallagher is an Australian politician who has been serving as the Minister for Finance, Minister for Women, Minister for the Public Service and Vice-President of the Executive Council in the Albanese Government since 2022, and formerly served as the 6th Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory from 2011 to 2014. She has been a Senator for the Australian Capital Territory since the 2019 federal election, as a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). She previously served in the Senate from 2015 to 2018.
Marion Rose Scrymgour is an Australian politician and the current member of parliament (MP) for Lingiari. She was a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2012, representing the electorate of Arafura. She was the Labor Party Deputy Chief Minister of the Northern Territory from November 2007 until February 2009, and was the highest-ranked Indigenous Australian woman in government in Australia's history. She was also the first Indigenous woman to be elected to the Northern Territory legislature.

She previously served as 22nd attorney-general of the Northern Territory and the territory’s minister for Justice from 2016 to 2020.

Martin served until November 2007, when she was succeeded by her deputy, Paul Henderson.
