Miss Universe Thailand 2018 was the 19th Miss Universe Thailand pageant, held at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 30 2018. [2]

Maria Poonlertlarp crowned her successor Sophida Kanchanarin at the end of the event. [3] [4] Kanchanarin represented Thailand at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant on 16 December 2018 in Bangkok and was placed as a top ten finalist.

The coronation was initially scheduled in August 2021, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was rescheduled twice, first in late-2021, and later to 2022. Representatives of seventy-seven administrative divisions of the country competed for the title, of whom a 27-year-old Thai-Singaporean beauty influencer and entrepreneur representing Phuket, Malin Chara-anan, was announced the winner.
