Moghdan (Persian : مغدان‎, also Romanized as Moghdān; also known as Mofdān, Moqdān, and Mughdun)^[1] is a village in Behdasht Rural District, Kushk-e Nar District, Parsian County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 553, in 101 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Behdasht Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Kushk-e Nar District of Parsian County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,557, in 2,449 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

Kushk-e Nar District is a district (bakhsh) in Parsian County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19,328, in 3,911 families. The District has two cities Dashti & Kushk-e Nar. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Behdasht Rural District and Kushk-e Nar Rural District.
