Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a national memorial centered on a colossal sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills near Keystone, South Dakota, United States. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum created the sculpture's design and oversaw the project's execution from 1927 to 1941 with the help of his son, Lincoln Borglum. The sculpture features the 60-foot-tall (18 m) heads of four United States Presidents recommended by Borglum: George Washington (1732–1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919) and Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865). The four presidents were chosen to represent the nation's birth, growth, development and preservation, respectively. The memorial park covers 1,278 acres and the mountain itself has an elevation of 5,725 feet (1,745 m) above sea level.

USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) is a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser of the United States Navy constructed by Litton-Ingalls Shipbuilding Corporation at Pascagoula, Mississippi and launched on 11 March 1985. The Ticonderoga-class cruisers are equipped with the Aegis Combat System and Bunker Hill is the first of the class to be equipped with the Mark 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) in place of the previous ships' twin-arm Mark 26 missile launchers, which greatly improved the flexibility and firepower of the ships by allowing them to fire BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles for land attack missions. Other missions include ballistic missile defence and capital ship escort for anti-aircraft defense. The ship was commissioned on 20 September 1986 and is homeported at Naval Base San Diego in San Diego, California.

Two Bush Island Light is a lighthouse on Two Bush Island, on the channel of the same name, the southwestern entrance to Penobscot Bay, Maine. The two bushes for which the island was named have long since vanished. The lighthouse was established in 1897. The keepers were removed when the light was automated in 1964. Afterward, the Two Bush Island fog signal was operated by the keepers at nearby Whitehead Light Station, who also monitored the light. The keeper's house was destroyed in 1970 as a Green Beret demolition exercise. In the summer of 2000, the light was converted to solar power. The lighthouse itself continues to be a navigation aid, but is only visible by boat or from the air. In 1998, the lighthouse became the property of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Blue Hill Bay is a bay lying to the west of Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine, United States. Approximately 14 mi (23 km) long, its southern boundaries are set by Swan's Island and Placentia Island at its entrance; the town of Blue Hill lies at the far end. Morgan Bay, Union River Bay, and Western Bay empty into it. Long Island in the north of the bay is the largest uninhabited island in Maine.

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine was an international civilian observer mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mandated to contribute to reducing tensions and to help foster peace in Ukraine. The mission was deployed in March 2014, following the Russian annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of open conflict in eastern Ukraine. Following the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine, the mission discontinued its operations on 31 March 2022.
