The American Association of Professional Baseball is an independent professional baseball league founded in 2005. It operates in the central United States and Canada, mostly in cities not served by Major League Baseball teams or their minor league affiliates. Joshua Schaub is the league commissioner. League offices are located in Moorhead, Minnesota. Though a separate entity, the league shared a commissioner and director of umpires with the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball during that league's existence. The American Association of Professional Baseball has 501(c)(6) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service. In 2020, as part of MLB's reorganization of the minor leagues, the American Association, together with the Atlantic League and the Frontier League, became an official MLB Partner League.
Cohen Stadium was a stadium on the Northeast side of El Paso, Texas, by the Patriot Freeway, next to the Franklin Mountains. It replaced Dudley Field and has been replaced by Southwest University Park. It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the El Paso Diablos minor league baseball team. It opened in 1990 and held 9,725 people. A demolition contract for the stadium was awarded on April 2, 2019, to be completed in 120 days. Demolition took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. The site will become the Cohen Entertainment District, featuring a water park, open spaces, shopping and restaurants.
Lake El Estero is a U-shaped body of water that is the anchor of the El Estero city park in Monterey, California. It is close to Del Monte Beach and Monterey Bay. Two bridges connect downtown Monterey with the Oak Grove residential neighborhood and the Naval Postgraduate School. The 24.7-acre (100,000 m2) El Estero park complex has dedicated spaces for recreation with a baseball field, skatepark, and the Dennis the Menace Playground. It is also popular with migrating birds and bird watchers.

The Clovis Pioneers was the primary name of the minor league baseball team that played in Clovis, New Mexico in various seasons from 1922 to 1957. The team was an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians (1946), Chicago Cubs (1950-1951) and Cincinnati Reds (1956-1957).

From 2017-2019 it was a traveling team which competed in various leagues when a league has an uneven number of teams. For the 2020 and 2021 seasons they returned to the Pecos League where they originally played before again leaving for the 2022 season only participating in the spring league.
The California City Whiptails were a professional baseball team based in California City, California that began play in 2017. They were a member of the Pecos League, an independent baseball league which is not affiliated with MLB or Minor League Baseball.
The Wasco Reserve were a professional baseball team based in Bakersfield, California, which began play in 2019. The team was a member of the Pecos League, an independent baseball league which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball or Minor League Baseball. The team began play in 2019 in Wasco, California. For the 2022 season, the team moved all home games to Sam Lynn Ballpark in Bakersfield, which they share with fellow Pecos League team the Bakersfield Train Robbers. After the 2022 season, the team folded.
The Panhandle–Pecos Valley League was a minor league baseball league that played in the 1923 season. The Class D level Panhandle–Pecos Valley League featured four teams based in New Mexico and Texas. The league permanently folded during its first season of play, with the Lubbock Hubbers capturing the only championship of the short–lived league.

The 1959 Roswell Pirates were a minor league affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rosewll hosted home games at League Park in 1937 and Fair Park Stadium.
