The Monterey Amberjacks are a professional baseball team based in Monterey, California, which began play in 2017. [1] The team is a member of the Pecos League, an independent baseball league which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball or Minor League Baseball. They play their home games at Frank E. Sollecito, Jr. Ballpark, surrounded by Lake El Estero, with the beach at Monterey Bay Park a short distance beyond the left field fence. [2]

The Monterey Amberjacks did not participate in the Pecos League 2024 season, with plans on returning to play in the league's 2025 season. [3]

Kino Sports Complex is a multiple-use sports complex in Tucson, Arizona. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox formerly utilized the complex's main ballpark, Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, for Cactus League games each March and had their minor league complexes on-site. The ballpark was also home to the Tucson Sidewinders of the Pacific Coast League for the team's last decade in Tucson, running from the stadium's 1998 opening season to the 2008 season. Cohen Stadium was a stadium on the Northeast side of El Paso, Texas, by the Patriot Freeway, next to the Franklin Mountains. It replaced Dudley Field and has been replaced by Southwest University Park. It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the El Paso Diablos minor league baseball team. It opened in 1990 and held 9,725 people. A demolition contract for the stadium was awarded on April 2, 2019, to be completed in 120 days. Demolition took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. The site will become the Cohen Entertainment District, featuring a water park, open spaces, shopping and restaurants.

There are 16 Pecos League teams, split between the Mountain and Pacific divisions.
