Moonbeam is a Russian electronic music project, founded in 2003 by brothers Vitaly and Pavel Khvaleev. [1] The name was coined by one of the project's singers, Chris Lunsford.
Vitaly (born September 17, 1979) and Pavel (born May 27, 1984) Hvaleev were born in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan, Russia. Pavel's mother is Armenian.
As students, Pavel and Vitaly began to create tracks, remixes and arrangements using all sorts of samples, and with the availability of computers pursued this more intensely.
In 2003, American vocalist Chris Lunsford came to Nizhny Novgorod; the brothers recorded the track "Raven Gypsy" with him, and then created 2 more works: "Consumption" and "Forgotten Grey". At this time the brothers took a new alias, "Moonbeam". In 2004, they released their first single with Portuguese label Feed Me Records.
At the end of 2005, Moonbeam created a platform for the release of their own works, the first Russian digital record label Moonbeam Digital (with sub-labels - Disoma Records and Moon Tribal Records, which have since closed). In the spring of 2008, the brothers went on an international tour, stopping in places such as Miami, Japan, and Australia.
2009 saw the release of the single "30 Days Of Drought", which was released on the label Proton Music. This was followed by several more releases on various labels. A month later, the duo opened for Tiësto in the "Tiësto Summer Tour" in Kyiv. The group toured in Germany, The Netherlands, India, France, Japan, Australia, Ukraine, and Russia.
In late 2009, Moonbeam announced that they would release a new studio album, titled Around the World, on March 22, 2010, on the label Black Hole Recordings. In 2011, they released a new album called The Secret (Moonbeam Digital).
In late 2014 Moonbeam returned to the studio to record their next international album. The result was Atom, which again followed in the Khvaleev brothers' grand tradition of the untraditional. The first single taken from it, Follow Me, co-produced by Indifferent Guy and sung by Eva Pavlova, was released in mid April 2015, with the album seeing release a month later.
The Random was followed in 2015 by their second motion picture III. The thriller/horror film made Official Selection at a wide range of international film festivals, including FANT & Nocturna, Spain, BIFFF, Belgium and the Imagine Film Festival in the Netherlands. On May 15, 2015, it won the Best Cinematography award at Australia’s prestigious Byron Bay International Film Festival. [2]
On March 5, 2016 at the festival «Trancemission Awakening» Pavel and Vitaly announced the closure of the project and the imminent release of «Eclipse» farewell album. New album "Eclipse" was released on April 25, 2016.
After 3 years off downtime, in 2019 Vitaly Khvaleev has launched Moonbeam.
Moonbeam produces, since January 2014, "Ticket To The Moon", a monthly one-hour radio show showcasing their own songs as well as those of similar artists.

Tijs Michiel Verwest, known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer. He was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Mag readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources.
Robert Cary Brothers is an American indie rock singer-songwriter originally from Nashville, Tennessee, United States. After moving to Los Angeles and becoming a regular performer at the influential Hotel Cafe venue, Brothers first gained national attention with his song "Blue Eyes" on the Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning "Garden State" soundtrack. As an independent artist, he has since toured worldwide, released two full-length records, and become one of the most-licensed artists in film and television. In the electronic dance music world, Brothers has collaborated with Tiësto on a club remix of his song "Ride" and an original song for Tiësto's album Kaleidoscope, and he co-wrote and sang the title tracks for the Cosmic Gate releases Wake Your Mind and Start to Feel.
Kirsty Hawkshaw is an English electronic music vocalist and songwriter. In addition to her work as a solo artist, she is known as the lead vocalist of early 1990s dance group Opus III, and her collaborative work with other musicians and producers.
Zion & Lennox are a Puerto Rican reggaeton music duo from Carolina, Puerto Rico. In 2004, Zion & Lennox released their first studio album titled Motivando a la Yal under White Lion Records. After their first album, Zion & Lennox decided to start their own label, Baby Records Inc. The duo is made up of Félix Ortiz (Zion) and Gabriel Pizarro (Lennox). Zion & Lennox are considered to be the pioneers of romantic reggaeton.

Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to leave Black Hole Recordings, setting up the record label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group.
Mark Norman is the name of award-winning Dutch trance producer Norman Lenden. Until 2011, when Mark de Jong left, it was a group. They have produced several high-profile tracks and remixes.

Jes Brieden, known simply as Jes, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and DJ from New York. She is a co-founder of the US dance band Motorcycle, who released the song "As the Rush Comes" in 2003.
Jezper Söderlund, better known by his main stage name Airbase, is a Swedish record producer and electronic music artist. His experimentation with electronic music began in 1994 after he was introduced to a digital sequencer application called Scream Tracker. Since 2004, he's been using Ableton Live as his sequencer of choice and he's also known for posting HD tutorials on YouTube with various tips and tricks on how to make the most of Ableton Live.
SongBird is a Dutch sub label owned by Tijs Verwest and Arny Bink. It is a sub label of Black Hole Recordings, established in 1997, and is most well known as the label on which Tiësto's popular trance series, In Search of Sunrise, was released.
In Search of Sunrise 7: Asia is a compilation album by Dutch trance producer and DJ Tiësto and his seventh and final contribution to the In Search of Sunrise compilation series. It was released on 10 June 2008 and was followed by a North American Tour during all of June. In 2008, Tiësto announced his In Search of Sunrise: North American Summer Tour 2008, the tour was presented by Armani Exchange on 23 May and ended on 4 July at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Friday 13 June. This tour was in support of the In Search of Sunrise compilation, which was part of a sponsorship partnership, with exclusive apparel and a limited edition 3-CD set. An exclusive best of CD from the DJ’s own imprint Black Hole Recordings, called "10 Years of Black Hole Recordings" was released that year. Armani also sold an exclusive Tiësto branded tour T-shirt, and Tiësto performed at three A|X in-stores during the tour.
Roger Shah, also known as DJ Shah and Sunlounger, is a German electronic music composer and producer.
Andy Duguid is a German-Scottish DJ and producer. His best-known singles, "Don't Belong" and "Wasted", were included on Tiesto's in Search of Sunrise-series in 2007 and 2008.
Daniela Marina Elisabeth Klein, known by her stage name Damae, is a German TV presenter and singer-songwriter who debuted as a vocalist on the Fragma track "You Are Alive". At the age of 14, Damae was discovered by a photographer from the teen magazine Bravo in Germany and began modeling. Soon after, she started receiving offers from music and film producers which she declined, preferring to sing and write in a punk band, and to do freelance and studio gigs. She later met Ramon Zenker, who she admired from Hardfloor. He invited her to his studio to see if they could work together. Damae describes the musical chemistry between them as "amazing" and Damae soon found herself with a record deal as the singer for Fragma. Following the success of Fragma, Damae became the presenter for Dance:District on onyx.tv in Germany and got to interview Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, WestBam, Jean Jacques Smoothie, Junior Jack, Boogie Pimps, Milk & Sugar, Mousse T. and many more.
Showtek is a Dutch electronic dance music duo consisting of two brothers from Eindhoven, Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen. The duo regularly manages to reach the top of multiple music charts and work with artists such as Tiësto, Chris Brown and David Guetta. Showtek was ranked 17th in the Top 100 DJs list of 2014 but by the magazine's 2016 list, they had dropped to 96th. The brothers, who have been musically active since 2001, also offer podcasts on their own radio show on the music streaming service iTunes.
Constantin Sava, known simply as DJ Sava, is a Romanian electronic musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. He started mixing in the early 1990s and eventually became the official resident DJ of a local club called "No Limit". Ten years later, DJ Sava went on a small promotional tour of the Romanian seaside clubs; in 2005 he signed a management contract with record label of Mr Ankit Chouhan l, which promoted his first two singles: "Gone Away" and "Remember". In 2007, DJ Sava came to prominence following his debut album Love Drops, which was a commercial success in Romania, spawning two successful singles: "Sunshine" and "The Reason".

He has releases on the worlds top record labels such as Ministry of Sound, Perfecto, Armada, Sony Music & Black Hole Recordings. He has gained global popularity over the years and received support from top artists like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, and many others.
Steve Helstrip, known by the stage name The Thrillseekers, is an English DJ and record producer. His debut single was "Synaesthesia", released in 1999.
Finne Jager, commonly known as Phynn, is a Dutch trance and techno DJ and producer. He is the founder of the American electronic dance music label Lunary Records.
