Morgan Matthews (born May 21, 1987) is an American former competitive ice dancer. With Maxim Zavozin, she is the 2006 Four Continents silver medalist and 2005 World Junior champion.
Matthews was born May 21, 1987, in Chicago. [1] She settled in Boston in May 2010. [2] An economics major, she graduated from Wellesley College in May 2016. [3]
Early in her career, Matthews competed in pair skating. In 1999 she and partner Val Rising-Moore placed 5th in the novice pairs event at U.S. Nationals. [4]
Matthews teamed up with Maxim Zavozin in 2001. The ice dancing duo became the 2003 and 2004 U.S. junior champions and went on to capture the 2005 World Junior title. They won the pewter medal at the 2006 U.S. Championships and were sent to the 2006 Four Continents where they won silver. The next season, they placed fifth at the 2007 U.S. Championships. Matthews and Zavozin announced the end of their partnership on February 26, 2007. [5] [6]
Matthews teamed up with Canadian Leif Gislason. They intended to represent Canada but Matthews' request for a release was denied by U.S. Figure Skating. [7] Their partnership ended after two years and a 5th-place finish at U.S. Nationals. She began a partnership with Elliot Pennington, who last competed in 2005 with Jane Summersett.
Matthews had hip injuries due to a macerated labrum, acetabular dysplasia, and vascular necrosis. [2] This led to her competitive retirement, [3] in September 2009. In 2010, she joined the coaching staff at The Skating Club of Boston. [2]

Galit Chait is an Israeli former competitive ice dancer. She and her partner Sergei Sakhnovski competed internationally for Israel from 1995 to 2006, becoming the 2002 World bronze medalists.

She won bronze at two Grand Prix events, 2011 Cup of China and 2007 Skate Canada International, and competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Matthieu Jost is a French former competitive ice dancer. With Pernelle Carron, he is the 2007 Skate Canada International bronze medallist, 2007 Winter Universiade bronze medallist, and 2008 Karl Schäfer Memorial champion. They placed sixth at the 2009 European Championships and ninth at the 2009 World Championships.
Zsuzsanna Nagy is a Hungarian former competitive ice dancer. With Máté Fejes, she is the 2011 Pavel Roman Memorial champion and a two-time Hungarian national champion. They competed in the final segment at two European Championships. With György Elek, she competed in the free dance at four ISU Championships and also appeared on the senior Grand Prix series.

Olga Vladislavovna Orlova is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. With Maxim Bolotin, she won three silver medals on the Junior Grand Prix and qualified for the 2003-2004 Junior Grand Prix Final. When that partnership ended, she teamed up with Anton Saulin for one season and then Vitali Novikov, with whom she placed sixth at the 2005 Cup of Russia.
Elena Anatolyevna Garanina is a former ice dancer who represented the Soviet Union. With Igor Zavozin, she is the 1978 Nebelhorn Trophy and 1981 Winter Universiade champion. They never made it to the World Figure Skating Championships due to the depth of the Soviet dance field. After turning pro, the duo performed in Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's ice shows.

They competed at three Grand Prix events and won two bronze medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. They announced the end of their partnership in March 2012. Cannuscio then competed for two seasons with Michael Bramante.
Ian Lorello is an American former competitive ice dancer. With Isabella Cannuscio, he is the 2011 Ice Challenge silver medalist and the 2010 U.S. national junior pewter medalist. They competed at three Grand Prix events and won two bronze medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. They announced the end of their partnership in March 2012.
Oleksandra Yevhenivna Nazarova is a Ukrainian retired ice dancer. With her skating partner, Maksym Nikitin, she is the 2015 World Junior bronze medalist and 2012 Youth Olympic silver medalist. On the senior level, they are the 2017 Winter Universiade champions, 2014 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalists, 2016 Cup of Nice bronze medalists, six-time Ukrainian national champions. Nazorova/Nikitin have represented Ukraine at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
