Mota is a genus of butterflies in the family Lycaenidae. The genus is monotypic containing the single Indomalayan species Mota massyla (Hewitson, 1869) [2] (Sikkim, Bhutan, Manipur, Sylhet, Cherrapunji, Assam, Burma, Thailand, Yunnan).
