Mount Huanggang (Chinese :黄岗山) is the highest peak in the UNESCO designated [1] Wuyi Mountains, China. It separates and is the highest point of both Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. [2] [3]

The highest peak in the area is Mount Huanggang at 2,158 metres (7,080 ft) on the border of Fujian and Jiangxi, making it the highest point of both provinces; the lowest altitudes are around 200 metres (660 ft). Many oolong and black teas are produced in the Wuyi Mountains, including Da Hong Pao and lapsang souchong, and are sold as Wuyi tea. The mountain range is known worldwide for its status as a refugium for several rare and endemic plant species, its dramatic river valleys, and the abundance of important temples and archeological sites in the region, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Huangpi District is one of 13 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China, situated on the northern (left) bank of the Yangtze River. The Sheshui enters the Yangtze at Huangpi. The district is primarily rural, but also includes important infrastructure facilities, such as Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and Wuhan North Railway Station, which is one of the main freight stations and classification yards on the Beijing–Guangzhou Railway. It is the northernmost of Wuhan's districts as well as the most spacious. On the left bank of the Yangtze, it borders the districts of Xinzhou to the east, and Jiang'an to the south, and Dongxihu to the southwest; on the opposite bank, it borders Hongshan. It also borders the prefecture-level cities of Huanggang to the northeast and Xiaogan to the northwest. The Sheshui enters the Yangtze River at Shekou in Huangpi.

Huangkeng is a town of Jianyang City, in the northwest of Fujian province, China. It is located west of Jianyang's main urban area and connected with Shaowu and the Wuyi Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Historically, Huangkeng has also been called Tanshili and Jiaheli in different ancient dynasties. The name Huangkeng comes from a poem, and likens the appearance of fallen leaves to gold. Zhu Xi's tomb is located in Huangkeng.

Yanxi Town is a rural town in Liuyang City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. As of the 2015 census it had a population of 32,000 and an area of 119.6-square-kilometre (46.2 sq mi). It is surrounded by Fushoushan Town of Pingjiang County on the north, Dahu Town on the northeast, Gugang Town on the west, Guandu Town on the east, and Yonghe Town on the south.

The Dabie Mountain Regional Medical Centre is a hospital campus in Huangzhou District, Huanggang, Hubei, China. Originally constructed as a new campus for the eventual relocation of Huanggang Central Hospital, it was rapidly converted into a quarantine facility as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic which originated in Wuhan.
