Mousampur [1] is a small village in Alwar district of Rajasthan, a state in northern India. It has about 500 population. Mousampur has one upper primary school, aganbadi center, and a few temples. The main occupation is farming. The village has only Hindus. It is "Yadav" (Ahir) majority village. There are others castes as well including Panjabi, Baniya, Carpenters (Khati), Barbers (Sain), SCs (Verma), Jogis, Mathurs etc. Mosumpur was under General Fateh Naseeb Khan who was a General in Alwar armed forces Under Maharaja Jai Singh Prabhakar Bahadur. Raja Jai Singh gave this village to his trusted Gernal Fateh.

The region roughly corresponds to the ancient kingdom of Matsya, founded in the 5th century BCE. Mewati dialect, a slight variant of the Haryanvi and Rajasthani dialects of Hindi, is spoken in rural areas of the region. Mewati Gharana is a distinctive style of Indian classical music.

Maharaja Sir Tej Singh Prabhakar, KCSI, was a ruler of Naruka dynasty of the Indian princely state of Alwar, Rajasthan from July 22, 1937 to 15 Aug 1947. Also, he was the last ruling Maharaja of Alwar.
Jai Singh Prabhakar, was a Rajput ruler of Naruka Kshatriya dynasty and the Maharaja of the princely state of Alwar from 1892 to 1937. The only son of the previous ruler, Sir Mangal Singh Prabhakar Bahadur, Sir Jai Singh initially was noted as brilliant, erudite and charming. However, he was later forced into exile. He died in 1937 at the age of 54. He was succeeded by a distant relative, Tej Singh Prabhakar Bahadur.

Naruka is a clan of Rajputs found in India. Naruka Rajputs are offshoots of Maharao Naru Singh of Mozamabad, whose grandfather, Rao Bar Singh, gave up the throne of Amer kingdom. Rao Bar Singh was the eldest son of Raja Udaikarna of Amer. Naruka is the most prominent clan among Kachhwaha and holds an exceptional position in the history of India. They independently ruled on Alwar State.
Alwar State was a kingdom from 1770 to 1818 and a princely state under British rule from 1818 to 1947. Initially its capital was Macheri and then the city of Alwar. The nobility of Alwar State belonged to the Naruka branch of the Kachwaha dynasty. The kingdom was established by Naruka chief Rao Raja Pratap Singh in 1770 CE. Alwar State was one of the 19 princely states of former-Rajputana, which existed at the time of Indian Independence. The last reigning ruler, Maharaja Sir Tej Singh Prabhakar Bahadur, signed the accession to the Indian Union on 7 April 1949.

Ghasera Fort is a ruined fort in Ghasera village in Nuh district of Haryana state in northern India, which has been notified as a protected monument by the state government. Currently, the majority of the residents of the village are Muslim Meos, though Hindus also live there.
Fateh Jang Gumbad Alwar, also known as Fateh Jang ka Gumabd or The tomb of Fateh Jang, is a popular tourist attraction located in Alwar city in Rajasthan state of India. The monument is dedicated to Fateh Jang, who was a minister to Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and was a governor of Alwar, who died in 1647.
Chetavani ra Chungatya is a patriotic Dingal poem composed by Thakur Kesari Singh Barhath in 1903 and addressed to Maharana of Mewar, Fateh Singh, exhorting him to uphold the traditions of his lineage and to not attend the Delhi Durbar. The couplets had the desired effect on the Maharana who decided not to attend the durbar despite being present in Delhi. The work remains one of the great literary works produced during the freedom struggle. It consists of 13 stanzas or sortha (saurashtra-duha).
