The Mrs. Colorado competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Colorado in the Mrs. America pageant. The event was held in Arvada from 1992 to 1998 (1995-1998 titles) and moved to Denver in 1999. The Pageant has been held in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. From 1990 to 2008, the Mrs. Colorado state pageant was directed by Tricia Dampier, based in Littleton, Colorado. In 2008, it was taken over by Abundance Productions, based in Parker, Colorado. Abundance Productions is owned and operated by Emily Stark. [6] [7] Colorado has been one of the consistent successful states at Mrs. America, having one Mrs. America (Mrs. America 2006 Marney Andes after Diane Hardgrove was crowned Mrs. World, Marney became Mrs. America), one first runner-up, two 2nd Runner up and one Top 6 and eight Top 10 placements. Miss Arizona USA is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of Arizona in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by its winner. The pageant is directed by Casting Crown Productions.

It was produced by Sanders & Associates, Inc., dba- Pageant Associates based in Buckhannon, West Virginia from 2001 to 2020. Since 2020 the pageant based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Miss California Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss Teen USA pageant. It was formed in 1983. This pageant is part of the Miss USA Organization, owned by Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart.
The Miss Colorado Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Colorado in the Miss Teen USA pageant. From 1993 to 2006, the Miss Colorado Teen USA state pageant was directed by Carol Hirata and the Carlton Group, based in Bellvue, Colorado. In 2007, it was taken over by Future Productions, based in Savage, Minnesota, which also directs pageants in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. The pageant have been held in Loveland, Greeley and other cities.

Miss USA 2008 was the 57th Miss USA pageant, held at the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 11, 2008. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Crystle Stewart of Texas was crowned the winner by outgoing titleholder Rachel Smith of Tennessee. Crystle represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant, which was held in Vietnam, where she placed in the Top 10. This was also the first time in the pageant's 56-year history that two consecutive women of African Americans have been crowned.

Miss USA 2011 was the 60th Anniversary of the Miss USA pageant, held at the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 19, 2011. Rima Fakih of Michigan crowned her successor, Alyssa Campanella of California, at the end of this event. This was California's sixth Miss USA title and the first title since 1992. Campanella represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.
Kelley Elizabeth Johnson is an American nurse, tv host and beauty pageant titleholder. In addition to being a Chief Nurse Advocate, she is also a doctoral student, keynote speaker and national spokeswoman. Kelly Johnson was also crowned Miss Colorado 2015 and placing 2nd runner-up at Miss America 2016. Johnson later won Miss California USA 2018. She placed in the top 10 at Miss USA 2018.
