Muravera (Sardinian : Murera, Latin : Sarcapos) [2] is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Cagliari in the Sarrabus.
It is a centre of citrus production as well as a tourist resort, including several fine beaches such as that of Costa Rei.

Sardinia is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, after Sicily, and one of the twenty regions of Italy. It is located west of the Italian Peninsula, north of Tunisia and 16.45 km south of the French island of Corsica.

Eccellenza Sardinia is the regional Italian Eccellenza football division for clubs in Sardinia and is the main football championship played on the island. Formerly called Prima Categoria and Promozione, it usually involves the participation of 17 teams.
