The Mussolini family is a well-known family in Italy. The most prominent member was Benito Mussolini, the fascist Prime Minister of Italy from 1922 to 1943. Other members of the family include:

Her husband, the fascist propagandist and Foreign Minister Galeazzo Ciano, was executed in January 1944 for his role in Mussolini's ouster. She strongly denied her involvement in the National Fascist Party regime after her father's execution by the Italian partisans in April 1945.

Mussolini is buried in Predappio, and his mausoleum is a local tourist destination, as well as a site of pilgrimage for Italian neo-fascists.

As a dictator and founder of fascism, Mussolini inspired the international spread of fascist movements during the interwar period.

Mussolini and I is a 1985 made-for-television docudrama film directed by Alberto Negrin. It chronicles the strained relationship between Italy's fascist dictator Benito Mussolini and his son-in-law and foreign minister, Count Galeazzo Ciano, based on Ciano's diaries. Made in English as an Italian-French-German-Swiss-Spanish-US co-production, with Bob Hoskins, Anthony Hopkins and Susan Sarandon in the leading roles, it first aired on Rai Uno on 15 April 1985 in a 130-minute version. On 8 September 1985, it premiered in the USA on HBO in an extended four-hour version.

Il processo di Verona is a 1963 Italian historical drama film directed by Carlo Lizzani. The film tells of the final phases of the Italian fascist regime, in particular the affair of the 1944 Verona trial, in which Galeazzo Ciano, Emilio De Bono, Giovanni Marinelli and other eminent Fascist officials were sentenced to death and almost immediately executed by a shooting detachment, while Tullio Cianetti was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment.

Fabrizio Ciano, 3rd Count of Cortellazzo and Buccari was the son of Count Galeazzo Ciano and his wife Edda Mussolini, and grandson of Benito Mussolini. He was the author of the memoir Quando Il Nonno Fece Fucilare Papà. He married Beatriz Uzcategui Jahn, without issue.

Rachele Mussolini is an Italian politician and a city councillor of Rome since 2016. She was formerly a member of the right-wing party Brothers of Italy, but defected to the centre-right Forza Italia in 2024. She has been serving two consecutive terms as a councillor in Rome. She is the granddaughter of fascist Prime Minister of Italy Benito Mussolini and Rachele Mussolini and half-sister of Alessandra Mussolini.
