Mihalik-Thompson Stadium is a stadium in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. The stadium was built in 1974 and has a capacity of 10,000. In the fall of 2003, AstroPlay and lights were added to the facility. [1]

Howard J. Lamade Stadium

Howard J. Lamade Stadium is a baseball stadium in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Each year, along with Little League Volunteer Stadium, it hosts the Little League World Series. The playing field is two-thirds the size of a professional baseball field, with 60-foot (18.3 m) basepaths, a 46-foot (14 m) mound, and after modification in 2006, outfield fences at 225 ft (68.6 m), forming one-fourth of a true circle. Stadium seating capacity is 8,000 to 10,000, much of which is bench seating, while large berms surrounding the stadium provide additional seating allowing over 40,000 spectators.

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania is a public, master's-level university that offers some doctoral programs. SRU is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). The Princeton School is a former school building located in the Village of Princeton outside New Castle, Pennsylvania. It was opened in late December 1928, almost seventy years after the village of Princeton was founded. The school has been operated as both a high school and an elementary school during its years of operation. It is not to be confused with the smaller nearby schoolhouse known as the "Old" Princeton School. Nelson Kerr Thompson was an American football, basketball and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Ursinus College from 1916 to 1917 at his alma mater, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, from 1920 to 1942 and in 1945, compiling a career college football coaching record of 133–64–5. Thompson was the head basketball coach at Ursinus from 1916 to 1918 and Slippery Rock from 1919 to 1926 and from 1930 to 1946, tallying a career college basketball mark of 269–144.
