Nafarroa Bai (Basque : Navarre Yes) was a Navarrese coalition in Spain of Basque nationalist and regional left-wing parties created in 2004 for the Spanish General election.
The coalition comprised Aralar, the Basque Nationalist Party, Eusko Alkartasuna (Basque Solidarity), Batzarre, and local independents, but not the outlawed Basque nationalists of Batasuna or Accion Nacionalista Vasca (ANV), traditionally the Basque nationalist party in Navarre with strongest support, for its stance on ETA's violence.
All these parties usually ran by themselves competing with each other at elections held in the neighbouring autonomous community of the Basque country but agreed to run together in Navarre. Basque nationalism does not hold a majority there, and the move was aimed at optimizing the Basque nationalist electoral results in Navarre. The coalition came up third and won a seat in the Spanish Parliament in 2004, gaining 18.4% of the votes cast in Navarre.
In 2007 the coalition became the second largest political force in Navarre's autonomous parliament, virtually tied with the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSN–PSOE) by obtaining 23.7% of the votes cast and 12 seats. [3] Five of the seats belonged to Aralar, four to EA and one for each the PNV and Batzarre, another one is independent.
Its most significant politicians were Patxi Zabaleta (Aralar), Maiorga Ramírez (Eusko Alkartasuna) and Uxue Barkos, a respected journalist who had worked for the Basque Television. She was the coalition's only MP in the Spanish Parliament.
In the 2008 Spanish General Election, Nafarroa Bai repeated the results of 2004 (18.5%), again coming up third in the autonomous community and repeating its only seat in the Spanish Parliament.
By 2011, new parties and coalitions jumped onto the political scene on the eve of the votation campaign after tribunals in Madrid decided on their legalization. The coalition then broke up when Eusko Alkartasuna and Aralar left it, and the leftovers of the coalition revamped as Geroa Bai, this time participated only by PNV and other minor groups, and led by Uxue Barkos.

Basque nationalism is a form of nationalism that asserts that Basques, an ethnic group indigenous to the western Pyrenees, are a nation and promotes the political unity of the Basques, today scattered between Spain and France. Since its inception in the late 19th century, Basque nationalism has included Basque independence movements.

Communist Movement of Euskadi was originally the branch of the Communist Movement (MC) in Basque Country and Navarre, Spain. EMK was previously known as ETA Berri, a splinter group of ETA. EMK separated itself from MC in 1983. In 1991 EMK merged with LKI and formed Zutik in Basque Country. In Navarre EMK took part in forming Batzarre. Some of its most prominent leaders were Patxi Iturrioz, Eugenio del Río, Rosa Olivares Txertudi, Milagros Rubio, Jesús Urra Bidaurre and the brothers Javier and Ignacio Álvarez Dorronsoro.
Batzarre is a political party in Navarre, Spain. It has a branch in the Basque Autonomous Community known as Zutik. It bids to win the political space to the left of the Basque nationalists and the Spanish socialists, the latter eroded for their long-running collusion with the conservative UPN government. It formed on 29 January 2011 the coalition Izquierda-Ezkerra along with Izquierda Unida de Navarra (IUN) and local Socialist figures disillusioned with the party's regional alliances.
Aralar was a Basque socialist and separatist political party in Spain. It was opposed to the violent struggle of ETA.
The 2009 Basque regional election was held on Sunday, 1 March 2009, to elect the 9th Parliament of the Basque Autonomous Community. All 75 seats in the Parliament were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with a regional election in Galicia. It would be the first time that the elections for two of the Spanish "historical regions"—namely, those comprising Andalusia, Catalonia, Galicia and the Basque Country itself—were held simultaneously. This would evolve into an unwritten convention in subsequent years, with Basque and Galician elections being held concurrently in 2012, 2016 and 2020.
Miren Uxue Barkos Berruezo, simply known as Uxue Barkos, is a Spanish journalist and politician who served as the President of Navarre from 2015 to 2019. She previously represented the Basque nationalism coalition Geroa Bai, and before that, Nafarroa Bai, in the Spanish Congress of Deputies.
Amaiur was a left-wing Basque nationalist and separatist political coalition from the Basque Country and Navarre. The name of the coalition comes from the fortress of Amaiur in Navarre, which was one of the last Basque strongholds during the Spanish conquest of Iberian Navarre.

EH Bildu, short for Euskal Herria Bildu, is a left-wing, Basque nationalist and pro-independence a federation of political parties in Spain. It is the main political force of the abertzale left in Spain. EH Bildu is active in the Spanish Basque Country, that is, in the Basque Autonomous Community and Chartered Community of Navarre, as well as in the Treviño enclave of the Burgos Province. In the French Basque Country, it has an alliance with the party Euskal Herria Bai, with the goal of establishing a state for the Basque Country across the Spanish-French border.
Izquierda-Ezkerra was an electoral alliance in Navarre formed by United Left of Navarre (IUN) and Batzarre. It was established in January 2011 after Batzarre split from the Nafarroa Bai coalition. Batzarre accepted IUN's call to form a coalition along with Socialist local figures—the Plataforma Navarra por el Cambio—disgruntled with the Socialist Party's social policies and standing support to the conservative anti-Basque Unión del Pueblo Navarro (UPN). The Los Verdes-Grupo Verde ecologists joined them too.

Pello Urizar Karetxe is a Basque politician who is the Secretary General of Eusko Alkartasuna, the Basque nationalist and social-democratic political party operating in Spain and France, and a member of the Basque Parliament.
Unai Hualde Iglesias is a Navarrese politician from the Basque National Party and a leading member of the coalition Geroa Bai. He is the president of the Basque National Party in Navarre, as well as a Member of the Parliament of Navarre since 2015. He served as the First Vice-president of the Parliament of Navarre from 2015 to 2019, during its 9th term. In 2019 he was elected as the President of the Parliament of Navarre for its 10th term. He was re-elected in 2023.
