Ghantasala (singer) Indian musician

Ghantasala Venkateswararao, known mononymously as Ghantasala, was an Indian film composer, Playback Singer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. According to The Hindu and The Indian Express, Ghantasala was "Such a divine talent and with his songs he could move the hearts of the people." P. Bhanumathi Ramakrishna was an Indian actress, director, music director, singer, producer, novelist and lyricist. Widely known as the first female super star of Telugu cinema, Bhanumathi appeared in over 100 films predominantly in Telugu and Tamil languages. She was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2001 for her contribution to the Indian cinema. She was honored among "women in cinema" at the 30th International Film Festival of India.

M. M. Keeravani Musical artist

Koduri Marakathamani Keeravaani, better known as M. M. Keeravani, is an Indian film composer, playback singer and lyricist, who works predominantly in Telugu cinema along with other languages including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Also known by his aliases Marakathamani, and M. M. Kreem, Keeravaani won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for the 1997 Telugu film Annamayya. He is also a recipient of eight Filmfare Awards, eleven state Nandi Awards and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.

Nandi Awards

The Nandi Awards are the awards that recognise the excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu television, and Lifetime achievements in Indian cinema. Presented annually by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the award is named after the big granite bull at Lepakshi — a cultural and historical symbol of the Telugu people. "Nandi" means "bull" in Telugu language.

Aapadbandhavudu is a 1992 Indian Telugu-language drama film written, and directed by K. Viswanath. Produced by Edida Nageswara Rao, starring Chiranjeevi and Meenakshi Seshadri in pivotal roles, with Jandhyala and Sharath Babu playing supporting roles. It was the third collaboration between actor Chiranjeevi and director K. Viswanath after Shubhalekha and Swayam Krushi. The film won critical acclaim with five state Nandi Awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor for Chiranjeevi, and the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for Chiranjeevi. The film was screened at the International Film Festival of India, the Asia Pacific Film Festival, and the AISFM Film Festival. The film was later dubbed into Tamil as Veera Marudhu.

The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Meena, and Rohini Hattangadi with the music composed by M. M. Keeravani. Based on the novel Navvina Kanneelle by Manasa, the plot follows Seetha (Meena) who arrives from the US to visit her grandparents, Seetharamayya (Rao) and Janakamma (Hattangadi) who are uninformed of her parents' accidental death.
