Nandi Awards of 2010

The Jury of Nandi Awards announced Nandi Awards for the year 2010 on 5 August 2011 at Film Development Corporation. Radhakrishna directed Vedam won the best film award . Nandamuri Balakrishna has won Best actor Award for Simha and Nithya Menon has won the best actress award for her debut movie Ala Modalaindi .

Meghasandesam is a 1982 Telugu-language drama film, produced and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao under his Taraka Prabhu Films banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jaya Prada, Jayasudha and music composed by Ramesh Naidu. This film is the 200th movie of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The Nandi Award for Best Special Effects instituted since 2005 is given after the Nandi Awards committee selects a film from all the films that released in that particular year, which has the best visual effects.

Nandi Awards for the year 2011 announced by Andhra Pradesh Government on 13 October 2012 Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Sri Rama Rajyam won the best film award followed by Nagarjuna’s Rajanna and Srikanth’s Virodhi. Mahesh Babu won Best actor Award for his performance in the super hit film Dookudu. Akkineni Nagarjuna won the special jury award for his performance in Rajanna and Nayantara won the best actress award for her performance in Sri Ramarajyam.
