The Nanning Marriott Hotel is located in the eastern area of the city’s CBD and is a 35-minute drive from Nanning Wuxu International Airport. Diagonally across from the hotel is the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, which is the permanent venue for the annual China–ASEAN Expo. In 2010 it was selected as one of the 12 official host hotels for the Expo. [3] The hotel is a part of Hangyang International Center and within walking distance to Admiral City shopping mall, Wuxiang Plaza and the Municipal Government office.

Environs

Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is known as the "Green City" [4] (绿城). Close by are the Ancient Town of Yangmei which contains a great deal of architecture from China's dynastic past, and the Qing Xiu Shan Chinese garden. The city is also home to the Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival, held annually. [5]
