Mukh O Mukhosh was the first Bengali-language feature film to be made in East Pakistan. It was produced by Iqbal Films and directed by Abdul Jabbar Khan. Nuruzzaman was the founder producer of Iqbal Films. The film was released in East Pakistan on 3 August 1956. It was released in Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, and Khulna. The film was commercially successful as viewers were enticed to watch the first feature film to be made in the region. It earned a total of Rs. 48,000 during its initial run.

Taqdeer is a thriller television series directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki, started streaming on the Bengali OTT platform hoichoi from 18 December 2020. Hoichoi announced their upcoming twenty-five web series, Taqdeer is one of them, Based on Bangladesh, the series features Chanchal Chowdhury, Manoj Pramanik, Sanjida Preeti and Shohel Mondol in the lead roles. The series is officially remade in India in the Telugu language as Dayaa.
Mohanagar is a Bangladeshi drama streaming television series created by Ashfaque Nipun. Starring Mosharraf Karim as the Officer in Charge (OC) of Kotwali police station, Dhaka. The series consisting of eight episodes premiered on 25 June 2021 on Hoichoi. Khairul Basar, Shamol Mawla, Nishat Priom, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Nasir Uddin Khan, Zakia Bari Momo, Shahed Ali co-starred. Gunin is a 2022 Bangladeshi supernatural romance film directed by Giasuddin Selim. He also wrote the screenplay, based on Hasan Azizul Huq's short story of the same name. The film stars Pori Moni, Sariful Razz, Dilara Zaman, Iresh Zaker, Mostafa Monwar, and Azad Abul Kalam. It is produced and distributed by Chorki and was released on theatre on 11 March 2022.
Hawa is a 2022 Bangladeshi mystery-drama film written and directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon. The film was produced by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited. The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Sariful Razz, Sumon Anowar, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan and Rizvi Rizu among others.
