Nathan Adams (born 23 July 1991), also known as Dinnerbone, is an English-Swedish video game programmer best known for his work at Mojang Studios, and specifically his contributions to the game Minecraft . [1] [2]

Early life

Adams was born in Shrewsbury, England, on 23 July 1991. He says that he learned programming at age 10 by creating MSN bots. [3]

Career

After finishing secondary school, he was rejected from college, so found a job with a small web development company. He was then hired by Curse, where he worked on the Minecraft server modification CraftBukkit. [4] Mojang then took full control of and hired the CraftBukkit team to work on a modding API, [5] which allowed mod developers easier access to the Minecraft game files. [6] He was hired on 28 February 2012 [1] and started work on 27 March. [2] He quit work on Minecraft in October 2015 [7] to work on a new Minecraft application launcher, and joined back in February 2017. [8] [9] He currently serves as the technical director for the game,[ citation needed ] however as of July 2022, Adams said that he hadn't been working for a year and a half due to health issues. [10]

Outside of Mojang, Adams has also been a senior developer for the Ruffle emulator project since early 2020. [11]

Personal life

He is married to Aleksandra "MissMarzenia" Zając, the project manager at Mojang. They have one son, who was born on 2 October 2016. [12] Adams is red-green colourblind. On 21 March 2019, Adams became a Swedish citizen. [13]

0x10c is an unfinished sandbox science fiction video game previously under development by Mojang AB. It was announced on April 3, 2012, by Markus Persson, the game's lead designer. The game was eventually indefinitely postponed because Persson found several creative blocks, citing the main problem as "it not being very fun to play". Persson then stated he will instead most likely continue to work on smaller projects for the rest of his life. The game was later completely cancelled.

Music of <i>Minecraft</i>

The music of the video game Minecraft was primarily composed by German musician Daniel Rosenfeld, better known as C418. In the legacy console editions of the game, there are 129 additional songs available in 7 different DLC for the game, composed by Gareth Coker. Later on in the game's history, Lena Raine, Kumi Tanioka, and Samuel Åberg composed several tracks for the game.

Minecon is an annual interactive livestream and fan convention about the video game Minecraft, hosted by Mojang. The first gathering in 2010 was known as MinecraftCon. The event then went by the Minecon name from 2011 to 2019. The Minecon 2011 convention was held in Las Vegas and celebrated the launch of the game with Minecraft-related discussion panels and gaming areas. The most recent in-person convention, Minecon 2016, held in Anaheim, had 12,000 attendees. Since 2017, Minecon has taken the form of an interactive livestream and, as such, Minecon 2016 was the last in-person convention to bear the Minecon name. The livestream was called Minecon Earth in 2017 and 2018, and was later renamed to Minecon Live in 2019 and Minecraft Live starting in 2020. After rising to popularity in 2019 for his performances in player versus player events, Technoblade was invited to the Dream SMP Minecraft server in 2020, further increasing his following. He is widely regarded by the game's community as one of the best Minecraft players.
