Navbakhor Khamidova (born 7 February 2001) is a Uzbekistani boxer who competes in the welterweight division. She won a medal at the 2023 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships. She is also a two-time medalist at the Asian Amateur Boxing Championships.
Khamidova won the silver medal at the 2021 Asian Championships after losing to Valentina Khalzova. She would win the gold medal the following year at the 2022 Asian Championships, having defeated Choi Hong-eun. [1]
At the end of September 2021, Khamidova won a bronze medal at the 58th Military World Championship in Moscow (Russia) held under the auspices of the International Military Sports Council. In the semifinal, she had lost to Saadat Dalgatova, the latter in whom went on to win the gold medal. [2] [3]
In March 2023, Khamidova competed at the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, losing to Imane Khelif in the quarterfinals; however, Khelif was disqualified for failing to meet the International Boxing Association's (IBA) eligibility criteria. According to the Algerian Olympic Committee, Khelif was disqualified due to medical reasons; later reports indicated her testosterone levels were too high to compete. Boxing has been contested at every Summer Olympic Games since its introduction to the program at the 1904 Summer Olympics, except for the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm, because Swedish law banned the sport at the time. The 2008 Summer Olympics were the final games with boxing as a male only event. Since the 2012 Summer Olympics, women's boxing is part of the program.
The International Boxing Association (IBA), previously known as the Association Internationale de Boxe Amateur (AIBA), is a Russian-dominated and Kremlin-backed sports organization that claims to sanction Olympic-style boxing matches and awards world and subordinate championships. However it is permanently banned from the Olympic Games, has no connection to the Olympics and its role as a sanctioning-body is not recognized by the Olympic movement. IBA consists of five continental confederations: AFBC, AMBC, ASBC, EUBC, and OCBC. The association includes officially 198 national boxing federations, a number actually debatable since the creation of the rival organisation World Boxing. It is led by Umar Kremlev, an ally of Vladimir Putin.

On 3 August 2024, she clinched at least a bronze medal in Paris after reaching the women's 66 kg semifinals, which will make her Algeria's first boxer to win an Olympic medal since 2000.
