Secunderabad is a twin city of Hyderabad and one of the six zones of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of the South Central Railway zone. Named after the Mir Akbar Ali Khan Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III, Nizam of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, Secunderabad was established in 1806 as a British cantonment. Although both the cities are together referred to as the twin cities, Hyderabad and Secunderabad have different histories and cultures, with Secunderabad having developed directly under British rule until 1948, and Hyderabad as the capital of the Nizams' princely state of Hyderabad. Since 1956, the city has housed the Rashtrapati Nilayam, the winter office of the president of India. It is also the headquarters of the 54th Infantry Division of the Indian Army.
Osman Sagar is a reservoir in the Indian city of Hyderabad. The lake is around 46 km2, and the reservoir is around 29 km2, with total level of 1,790 feet and a capacity of 3.9 tmc ft.

The Tank Bund Road is a road in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, India. The Tank Bund dams Hussain Sagar lake on the eastern side and connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It has become an attraction with 33 statues of famous people from the region.

Sanjeevaiah Park is a public greenspace and park in the heart of Hyderabad, in Telangana, India. Built on 92 acres (37 ha) along the banks of Hussain Sagar lake, the park is named after Damodaram Sanjivayya, an erstwhile Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The park is managed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). The park won the Best Open Landscape Award during the 2010 Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage award presentations. The park also houses the second tallest Indian flag.

Lumbini Park, officially T. Anjaiah Lumbini Park, is a small public, urban park of 3 hectares adjacent to Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad, India. Since it is located in the centre of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. Boating is one of the best attractions and people go to the Buddha idol placed in the middle of the Tank Band in the boats. Constructed in 1994, the park is named after the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh T. Anjaiah. The park is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority of the Government of Telangana. In 2007, it was one of the targets of the 25 August 2007 Hyderabad bombings that killed 44 people.
Durgam Cheruvu, also known as Raidurgam Cheruvu, is a freshwater lake located in Rangareddy district, Telangana, India. The lake, which is spread over 83 acres (34 ha), is located near the city of Hyderabad. The lake is also known as Secret Lake because it is hidden between the localities of Jubilee Hills, Madhapur and Raidurg. The Durgam Cheruvu Bridge, which traverses the lake, was inaugurated in September 2020.

Hussain Sagar is a heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1562. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometres (2.2 sq mi) and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. The lake separates the city centre of Hyderabad from the neighbourhood of Secunderabad. The maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet (9.8 m).
Hussain Sagar Thermal Power Station was a historic thermal power plant that was located in Hyderabad, Telangana on the banks of Hussain Sagar. It was India's first thermal power station, opened in 1920 by the erstwhile seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. The power plant replaced the diesel generators of Hyderabad State Electricity Department that had been used in a limited way to supply electricity to houses and light the streetlights.

Alisagar is a park, tourist attraction and an irrigation project which is 13 km (6.2 mi) from Nizamabad and 2 km (1.2 mi) off the Nizamabad-Bodhan road. The park was opened by the Nizam of Hyderabad in 1928. The park contains forested areas, a summer house, well laid out gardens, a reservoir and island, and a hilltop guest house all of which make it a favored getaway location. Additional attractions include a deer park, and facilities for trekking and water sports.
Khairatabad Ganesh is an idol of the Hindu god Ganesha that is installed during the annual festival of Ganesh Chaturthi at Khairatabad locality of Hyderabad, India. Constructed annually and known for its height and the laddu held in the figure's hand, the idol is worshipped during the 10-day festival where thousands of devotees visit every day. On the 11th day, the idol is immersed in the nearby Hussain Sagar lake.
Safilguda lake, originally named as Nadimi Cheruvu and Mini Tank Bund, is a lake located in Safilguda Hamlet, Neredmet Village, Secunderabad, Telangana, India. There is a park adjacent to the lake called Safilguda Lake Park. The lake has a small island called Nadimi Bird Island. It is covered with thick trees, which attract a variety of wildlife, especially migratory birds. Katta Misamma Temple is located on the shoreline of the lake. The road around the lake is similar to the Necklace Road around the "tank bund" on the Hussain Sagar Lake and hence the lake is also called "Mini Tank Bund". The park is a popular attraction for jogging and evening walks. Several movies have been shot at this lake. "Elluvochi Godaramma" song shot at Safilguda lake is a very popular song.
Hyderabad Street Circuit was a 2.835 km (1.762 mi) street circuit laid out on the streets of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The track was set up in and around the Secretariat Complex and went through Lumbini Park, situated on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake. The Hyderabad ePrix was staged on the circuit in 2023. It was held as part of the 2022–23 Formula E World Championship season and was the first Formula E race held in the country.
