Neil Martin Taylor (born 26 January 1961) is an English guitarist, best known for his long-time affiliation with Robbie Williams and for his work with Tears for Fears.
Taylor started playing in local bands in his youth before joining Neon as a session musician in the early 1980s. During this time he met Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal who, after founding Tears for Fears, asked Taylor to tour with them and play guitar tracks for their second album, Songs from the Big Chair (1985), [1] and their third The Seeds of Love (1989). Taylor toured with the band several times between 1983 and 1990 and appears on their live concert videos In My Mind's Eye (1984) and Going to California .
In 1985, He released the first and only album titled You've Got to Stay Young with his former band Violent Blue under Magnet Records. (1990). [2] In the 1990s, he went on to play with several artists before becoming a regular member of Robbie Williams' band in 2003. [3] [4] Taylor has played guitar for many artists including Tina Turner, Howard Jones, Chris de Burgh, Natalie Imbruglia and James Morrison.
In 2011, Taylor released his first solo album, No Self Control, [5] and toured Germany assisted by Gary Nuttal. In April 2012, he released his second album Chasing Butterflies. [5]
Iron Butterfly is an American rock band formed in San Diego, California, in 1966. The Seeds of Love is the third studio album by British pop rock band Tears for Fears, released on 25 September 1989 by Fontana Records. It retained the band's epic sound while incorporating influences ranging from jazz and soul to Beatlesque pop. Its lengthy production and scrapped recording sessions cost over £1 million. The album spawned the title hit single "Sowing the Seeds of Love," as well as "Woman in Chains," and "Advice for the Young at Heart", both of which reached the top 40 in several countries.

Additionally, Hine recorded eleven albums, including those billed under his own name, the pseudo-band name Thinkman, and as a member of the band Quantum Jump; with the latter, he achieved a number 5 hit on the UK Singles Chart in 1979, "The Lone Ranger". Additionally, he composed for film and television soundtracks, including the 1989 Ian Fleming biopic Goldeneye and the black comedy Better Off Dead.
Ian Christopher Stanley is a British musician, songwriter and record producer. He was previously a member of the English band Tears for Fears for most of the 1980s, and played a key role in the making of their multi-platinum selling second studio album Songs from the Big Chair.
Carol Kenyon is a British singer. She is best known for her vocals on the Heaven 17 hit song "Temptation", which reached number two in the UK Singles Chart in 1983. When the song was re-released as a remix by Brothers in Rhythm in 1992, again featuring Carol's vocals, it made number 4.
