Nemotha [1] [2] is a genus of praying mantids in the family Hymenopodidae: tribe Anaxarchini, containing a single described species, Nemotha metallica. [3] The genus was previously placed in the Iridopterygidae, [2] and two species have been placed in the revived genus Tricondylomimus . [4] It is found in Asia.

The new placement of this taxon is in the superfamily Eremiaphiloidea and infraorder Schizomantodea.
