The Netherlands national rollball team is the national men's roll ball team of the Netherlands.

The Netherlands competed in the 2011 Roll Ball World Cup where they finished 9th and won the fair play award. [1] [2] Four years later they also competed at the 2015 Rollball World Cup.

Netherlands at the 2012 Summer Olympics

The Netherlands competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. Dutch athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games since their official debut in 1908, with the exception of the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, which the Netherlands boycotted because of the Soviet invasion of Hungary. Roll Ball is a game played between two teams, and is a unique combination of roller skates, basketball, handball, and throwball. It is played on "roller shoes". Each team consists of twelve players, six on the field and six in reserve. The main objective of the game is to score maximum goals within a stipulated time. The main feature of Roll Ball is that the ball is held in one or both hands, even when passing to the other players, and the ball is repeatedly bounced on the ground.

The 2011 Roll Ball World Cup was the first World Cup of the game Roll Ball. It was held at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. It was won by Denmark, a non-member of the International Roll Ball Federation, and host India placed second. The Cup had 28 group stage matches, 2 semi-finals and a final. There were 31 matches in total.
