A1 Team Netherlands was the Dutch team of A1 Grand Prix, an international racing series.
A1 Team Netherlands' owner was former Formula One driver and Le Mans winner Jan Lammers. The team was managed by Lammers's racing team Racing for Holland, notable for their participation in the 24 hours of Le Mans and FIA sportscars series.
The 2005-06 season had a difficult start for Team Netherlands. In the first two sprint races the car was hit in the first turn on both the Brands Hatch and EuroSpeedway circuits. Despite these setbacks, Jos Verstappen showed impressive overtaking action in the main races moving from the back of the grid to the seventh position. The season continued with average results, with 4th up to 19th positions as end results.
The street circuit of Durban, South Africa brought the first victory for A1 Team Netherlands as in the last turn of the main race, Jos Verstappen managed to take the lead from the Swiss car. A similar manoeuvre that failed during the sprint race forced Verstappen to start from the 16th place on the grid.
In 2006-07 Team Netherlands finished 5th in the championship, with one victory.
In 2007-08 Team Netherlands finished 7th in the championship, with 2 podiums.
For the 2008-09 season Jeroen Bleekemolen returned as a driver, alongside A1GP rookie Robert Doornbos. Both drivers alternated races, starting with Bleekemolen at Zandvoort. [1] Team Netherlands finished 4th in the championship, with both drivers having scored one victory in a sprint race.

Johannes FranciscusVerstappen is a Dutch former racing driver who competed in Formula One for Benetton, Simtek, Footwork Arrows, Tyrrell, Stewart, and Minardi. Verstappen was the German Formula Three champion and Masters of Formula Three winner in 1993.
Jan Lammers is a racing driver from the Netherlands whose most notable claim to fame is victory in the 1988 Le Mans 24 Hours for Silk Cut Jaguar/TWR, next to a four-season spell in Formula One in 1979-1982, driving for Shadow, ATS, Ensign and Theodore. This was followed by a comeback with March for two races in 1992, after a world-record time gap of ten years.
Robert Michael Doornbos is a Dutch former racing driver who also competed with a Monégasque licence. He has been test and third driver for the Jordan and Red Bull Racing Formula One teams, as well as driving for Minardi and Red Bull Racing in 2005 and 2006. Doornbos then drove for Minardi Team USA in the 2007 and final season of the Champ Car World Series. He competed in the Superleague Formula racing series in 2008, and drove for the Netherlands team in A1 Grand Prix's 2008–2009 season. In 2009, Doornbos competed in the IndyCar Series. He began the season with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing, but switched to HVM Racing after the race in Kentucky Speedway.
The 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Great Britain was an A1 Grand Prix race, held on 25 September 2005 at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England. This was the first in the 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix season, and the first race in the history of the A1 Grand Prix series.
Jeroen Bleekemolen is a Dutch professional racing driver. In the Chrysler Viper GTS-R he drove in the FIA GT Championship, with great success. He competed in the very competitive German Formula Three Championship and drove a number of times at the Masters of Formula 3 at Circuit Zandvoort, the unofficial F3 World Championship. Together with Opel he raced in the DTM. In 2005 Bleekemolen won the ELF BRL V6 championship.

Lance Strulovitch, better known as Lance Stroll, is a Canadian-Belgian racing driver competing under the Canadian flag in Formula One. He has driven for Aston Martin since 2021, having previously driven for Williams and Racing Point. He was Italian F4 champion in 2014, Toyota Racing Series champion in 2015, and 2016 FIA European Formula 3 champion. He was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2010 to 2015. The 2021 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 12 September 2021 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. It was the 14th round of the 2021 Formula One World Championship and the second Grand Prix in Italy in the season, after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on 18 April. The 53 lap race was won by McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo. Teammate Lando Norris finished second and Mercedes Valtteri Bottas was third. It was Ricciardo's first victory since the 2018 Monaco Grand Prix and McLaren's first victory since Jenson Button at the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix and McLaren's first 1-2 finish since the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix, and also McLaren's first win at Monza since the 2012 Italian Grand Prix.
