The NLHS has a Rocket Booster Club.
During the 1930s, annual turkey races were held each spring behind the school on the athletic field. The winner of the quarter-mile run would take home the prize turkey, second place a chicken, third place a duck, and last place was the lucky booby prize of the Egg. Boxing also occurred during the 1930s and golf was an active sport until 1985.
Activities offered include Show Choir, Pep Band, Pit Band, Student Council, G.I.V.E., Forensics, Yearbook, Visual Arts Classic, Musical, FFA, FBLA, and Spanish Club.
Athletics
NLHS is a member of the Scenic Bluffs Conference. NLHS offers a variety of sports which include football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, baseball, softball, and track and field.
Fundraising for a new athletic complex began in September 2017 with the construction of a ticket booth, restrooms, and concessions stand. This project will be completed in Spring 2018. [5]
Viterbo University is a private Catholic university in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Founded in 1890 by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Viterbo is home to three colleges with nine schools offering 48 academic programs at the associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.

Roxbury High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school in the Succasunna section of Roxbury in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth grade through twelfth grades, operating as the lone secondary school of the Roxbury School District, which serves more than 3,500 students.
Aitkin High School (AHS) is a public high school in Aitkin, Minnesota, United States. The school serves students in grades 7–12. The school enrolls approximately 600 students per year, with 400 students in the high school and 200 attending middle school. The school is a combined middle and high school, since the town does not have the needed population of adolescents to include a separate middle school. Class sizes are around 100 students, while some classes, such as the Class of 1978, have enrolled up to 160 students at one time. The Class of 2010 is one of the smallest Aitkin High School classes in history, with a class size at graduation of 83. The class entered with 96 students in 2004. Though the more recent class of 2020 graduated with less than 70.
Altoona Area High School (AAHS) is the public high school for the Altoona Area School District in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The high school serves the communities of Altoona, Logan Township, and a small portion of Tyrone Township.
George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, also known just as the Carver Center is a Baltimore County-wide public magnet high school originally established in 1992 as one of three geographically spread technology high schools,. The Central Technical High School, was located in Towson, the county seat in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. In any given year, just under 1,000 students attend, and typical class size is just under 20. The high school is primarily known for its eleven "Primes", for which students must apply in order to be accepted to the school. The school is distinguished in many categories, mainly its many art achievements.

The High School shares a building with Camp Hill Middle School, although classes, teachers, and even administrators are mostly shared.
East Liverpool Junior/Senior High School is a public high school in East Liverpool, Ohio, United States. It is the only secondary school in the East Liverpool City School District, serving the city and surrounding Glenmoor, La Croft and Liverpool Township. Tyner High School is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. It was built in 1907 as the first secondary school in Hamilton County east of the Missionary Ridge at the site of the current Tyner Middle Academy. The first class consisted of 25 students. The school was moved to the current location, which has had many additions and changes since 1937. Today Tyner Academy serves around 876 students, in grades 9–12, in three Career Academies and a Freshman Academy.
