The mall was built as an integrated development together with a condominium, Compass Heights which is located adjacent to the mall. Originally opened on 1 August 2002, the mall closed for extensive renovation works on 26 October 2015 and re-opened on 1 September 2016.

It consists of three office towers, two residential towers and retail space at Marina Bay Link Mall, occupying a 3.55-hectare (8.8-acre) site.
White Sands Shopping Mall, also known as White Sands, is a 5-storey shopping mall with retail outlets at the basement and two additional floors of basement carparks. It is located near Pasir Ris MRT station and Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.
The Verge, formerly Tekka Mall, was the first and largest modern shopping mall at the Little India precinct in Singapore. It was opened in 2003. The Verge had two buildings, the main building and Chill @ The Verge. It was located in the southern part of Little India, with the main building located at the junction of Serangoon Road and Sungei Road and the Chill @ The Verge at the junction of Perak Road and Sungei Road. Both of the buildings were separated by Clive Street and the mall lies opposite of Tekka Centre across Serangoon Road. The complex was demolished in 2017 to make way for redevelopment after 14 years of operation, making it one of the youngest malls in Singapore to shut its doors.

Waterway Point is a suburban shopping mall located in the town centre of Punggol New Town, Singapore, next to Punggol MRT/LRT station. The mall was built as part of Punggol's first integrated waterfront residential and retail development, Watertown. It is the first mall in Singapore to be integrated with a town square and a visitors’ centre which provides an avenue for residents and the public to learn more about the heritage of Punggol through exhibitions and civic and community events. The mall had a soft launch on 18 January 2016, and was officially opened on 19 April that year.
