History
The Land Transport Authority announced in 2009 that the former Bedok Bus Interchange will be redeveloped into an integrated transport hub comprising an air-conditioned bus interchange, a retail mall and a residential complex. To facilitate construction works for the integrated hub, Bedok Bus Interchange was moved to a temporary site next to its original location in late 2011.
At the same time, CapitaLand, the developer of the site, launched Bedok Mall and Bedok Residences as an integrated development. Originally slated to be completed in 2014, Capitaland announced that Bedok Mall would open in late 2013, six months earlier than expected. It also announced that the mall had secured anchor tenants FairPrice Finest, Best Denki and Uniqlo.
Bedok Mall was opened on 3 December 2013, with 80% of the shops opened. On 30 November 2014, the air-conditioned Bedok Bus Interchange opened and Bedok Residences was completed in June 2015. Located at the town centre of Bedok, the integrated retail and residential development comprises a 3-storey lifestyle and family shopping mall and eight 15-storey residential towers called Bedok Residences.
Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station is a transit-oriented development that houses the main railway station of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Opened on 16 April 2001, KL Sentral replaced the old Kuala Lumpur railway station as the city's main intercity railway station. KL Sentral is the largest railway station in Malaysia, and the second largest in Southeast Asia, behind Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal in Bangkok, Thailand.
Clementi is a planning area and residential town located at the easternmost fringe of the West Region of Singapore. The town borders Bukit Batok to the north, Bukit Timah to the northeast, Queenstown to the east and Jurong East to the west.
Pasir Ris is a planning area and residential town located in the East Region of Singapore. It is bordered by Tampines and Paya Lebar to the south, Sengkang to the southwest and Changi to the east. The planning area also shares riverine boundary with Punggol to the west, separated by the Serangoon River, as well as having a maritime boundary with the North-Eastern Islands planning area, across the Straits of Johor.
Tampines is the regional centre of the East Region of Singapore. It is home to approximately 5% of Singapore's population. Tampines is bordered to the west by Bedok and Paya Lebar, to the north by Pasir Ris, to the east by Changi, and to the south by the Straits of Singapore. Situated in the historical region of Tanah Merah, its present-day terrain is particularly flat due to the large-scale sand quarrying in the 1960s.
Yishun, formerly known as Nee Soon, is a residential town located in the northeastern corner of the North Region of Singapore, bordering Simpang and Sembawang to the north, Mandai to the west, the Central Water Catchment to its southwest, Ang Mo Kio to its south, as well as Seletar and Sengkang to its east and southeast respectively.
Hougang is a planning area and mature residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. The town is the most populous in the region, being home to 247,528 residents as of 2018. Hougang planning area is bordered by Sengkang to the north, Geylang and Serangoon to the south, Bedok to the southeast, Toa Payoh to the southwest, Paya Lebar to the east, Ang Mo Kio to the west and Bishan to the southwest.
Bedok is a planning area and matured residential town located in the geographical region of Tanah Merah along the south-eastern coast of the East Region of Singapore. Bedok is bounded by five other planning areas: Paya Lebar to the north, Hougang to the northwest, Tampines to the northeast and east, Geylang to the west and Marine Parade to the southwest. It also shares a maritime boundary with the Singapore Strait to the south and southeast.
Jurong East is a planning area and residential town situated in the West Region of Singapore. It borders Jurong West and Boon Lay to the west, Clementi to the east, Tengah and Bukit Batok to the north and Selat Jurong to the south.
Jurong West is a planning area and residential town located in the West Region of Singapore. Jurong West shares boundaries with Tengah in the north, Jurong East in the east, Boon Lay and Pioneer in the south, and Western Water Catchment in the west.
Woodlands Bus Interchange is a bus interchange in Singapore. Located at Woodlands, the interchange is linked to Woodlands MRT station and adjacent to Causeway Point shopping mall. It is the largest and among the busiest bus interchange in Singapore. The interchange is also known as Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub.
Bedok Bus Interchange is an air-conditioned bus interchange located in the approximate center of Bedok. It is situated along Bedok North Interchange and Bedok North Drive, on the second level of Bedok Mall. It is connected to Bedok MRT station. It is the 2nd busiest bus interchange in Singapore, with 28 bus services operating from it.
Compass One is a suburban shopping mall located in the town centre of Sengkang, Singapore. The mall was built as an integrated development together with a condominium, Compass Heights which is located adjacent to the mall. Originally opened on 1 August 2002, the mall closed for extensive renovation works on 26 October 2015 and re-opened on 1 September 2016.
Tampines Bus Interchange is a bus station in Tampines, Singapore. It serves as the primary bus interchange for Tampines New Town, with feeder and trunk services operating at high frequencies. It is owned by the Land Transport Authority and operated by SBS Transit Ltd.
Boon Lay Bus Interchange is an air-conditioned bus interchange located in Jurong West Central, in the western part of Singapore. It is situated within Jurong Point and integrated with the nearby Boon Lay MRT station. This interchange serves a variety of passengers, including those from Nanyang Technological University, Jurong Industrial Estate and Tuas Industrial Estate. The interchange has been among the largest and busiest bus interchanges in Singapore, handling 31 services in the past until a few services were amended to the newer Joo Koon Bus Interchange in 2015.
Yishun Bus Interchange is located in northern Singapore, integrated with Northpoint City. The interchange is part of the Yishun Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), which opened on 8 September 2019. Before this interchange, the original bus interchange was in operation from 23 August 1987 to 13 March 2015. Operations were transferred to a temporary site on 14 March 2015 for the construction of Yishun Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), and eventually closed on 7 September 2019.
Clementi Bus Interchange is an air-conditioned bus interchange in Clementi New Town, beside Clementi MRT station. It is located at the junction of Clementi Avenue 3 and Commonwealth Avenue West, situated within the Clementi Mall and integrated with Clementi MRT station. This interchange serves mainly commuters travelling to the various housing estates, schools, recreational areas, healthcare centres and places of worship in Clementi and West Coast.
Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) is a multipurpose development area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KLCC refers to the area within and surrounding the KLCC Park but the term has also been widely used by buildings nearby to the vicinity.

AMK Hub is a suburban shopping mall located in Ang Mo Kio, within the North-East Region of Singapore. It is connected to Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange which is linked to Ang Mo Kio MRT station via an underpass. The shopping mall has 48,250 square metres of gross floor area and 350,000 square feet (33,000 m2) of retail space.
Bedok Point was a four-storey mall located in the town center of Bedok along New Upper Changi Road, and near Bedok MRT station. It was officially opened on 26 April 2011, following a soft opening on 16 December 2010. It had a range of shops, entertainment outlets, a bookstore and food outlets.
