Nhyiaeso is a suburb of Kumasi. Kumasi is the regional capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. [1] It is a residential area in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. It is about 2 kilometres north of the centre of the regional capital. The town is in the Nhyiaeso Constituency. The town is both a residential and business area.
The town is bordered on the north by Santasi, on the south and east by Kejetia - Adum and on the west by Danyame.
Nhyiaeso is known for its string of hotels and guest houses. Among them are the Royal Lamerta Hotel [2] and Yegoala Hotel. [3] There are several banks in the town, including CAL Bank, Barclays bank, and Standard Chartered. The French government also has a French teaching centre - the Alliance Francais teaching centre. [4] Tigo, one of Ghana's telecommunication companies, has its regional office in the town. [5]

The metropolis is located in the central part of Ashanti Region and has Kumasi as its capital city.

Pokuase, also spelled Pokoasi, is a suburb of Accra, the capital city of Ghana and spans the area from Pokuase, leading off the Accra-Kumasi motorway on the right coming from Accra central; and leading off the motorway at Pokuase Junction and rising to ‘Okai Kwei Hill’, on the left coming from town. It is a mixture of lively retail shopping areas, with local stores, bars or 'drinking spots', bus/taxi stations, and a market. It also has many hotels, guest houses and rental apartments- such as the eco-chic Legassi Gardens Apartments-, and 'high-end' developing residential estates, such as Ofankor Hills Estates and Franko Estates, amongst many others; as well as the long-established executive gated community of ACP Estates.; and HFS Estates which borders the erstwhile Gua Koo Sacred Grove in Pokuase.
