Nickelodeon Land is a themed children's area at the Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. [1] The area currently features 6 operating rides as well as some other attractions. [2]
In 1981, Sea World opened the Carousel. Prior to October 1999, Sea World the area where Beach Break Bay currently stands was part of the Sea World Lake. [3] The land was filled in for the construction of Cartoon Network Cartoon Beach which opened in October 1999. [3] [4] This saw the introduction of several rides including Air-See Rescue, Airborne Barrel Brigade, Dexter's Time Machine, Toon Point Lighthouse and Woody's Beachtrucks. [4] In 2007, work began on the removal of the Cartoon Network theme. On 29 September 2007, Sesame Street Beach officially opened replacing Cartoon Network Cartoon Beach. This saw the introduction of a new ride, an SBF Visa Group Happy Tower named Big Bird Bounce as well as a show stage adjacent to the area. The stage was used for Bert and Ernie's Island Holiday. [5] In late 2011, Sesame Street Beach was converted into the generic Beach Break Bay theme. [1] The show stage now shows Dora's Best Friends Adventure. [2] [6]
In April 2015, Sea World announced it was going to refurbish Beach Break Bay, and add four new rides. A Zamperla roller coaster is rumoured as one of the additions. [7] Eventually those plans were scrapped and replaced with plans for a Nickelodeon area. The new rides will still be added however. Nickelodeon Land opened in September 2015.

Sea World is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, and theme park located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It offers attractions such as rides and animal exhibits and promotes conservation through education and the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. The park is commercially linked to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast as part of the theme park division of Village Roadshow. The park has no affiliation with an American park chain of a similar name.
A pirate ship is a type of amusement ride based on pirate ships, consisting of an open, seated gondola which swings back and forth, subjecting the rider to various levels of angular momentum. A variant where the riders must pull on ropes to swing the ride is known as a swing boat.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort is a 128 acres theme park, zoo and hotel complex in Chessington, Greater London, England, around 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Central London. The complex originally opened as Chessington Zoo in 1931; the theme park aspect was developed by The Tussauds Group, debuting on 7 July 1987 as one of the first combined animal-amusement parks in the UK. The theme park, which features over 40 rides, is now owned by Merlin Entertainments, following its merger with The Tussauds Group in 2007. Under Merlin, Chessington has been increasingly developed into a resort and tourist destination, including two on-site hotels, swimming pools, a campground, spa and wellness amenities, and fitness facilities, including a high ropes course.
Luna Park Melbourne is a historic amusement park located on the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay in St Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria. It opened on 13 December 1912, with a formal opening a week later, and has been operating almost continuously ever since.

Kids' WB Fun Zone is a themed attraction in Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia based on the Looney Tunes cartoons. The attraction was originally named Looney Tunes Village and was renamed in late 2007 when two new rides were added. At the same time, the Australian Kids' WB TV show began filming at the theme park.
Looney Tunes River Ride was a dark boat ride at the amusement park Warner Bros. Movie World at Gold Coast, Australia. The ride was unveiled on 3 June 1991, the same time as the park, and was closed on 1 February 2011 to make way for the Junior Driving School.
Funfields is a 15.7-hectare (39-acre) theme park located in the suburban fringe town of Whittlesea, approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Melbourne, Australia. Opened in 1985, originally as the Alpine Toboggan Park, it has over the years evolved into a multifaceted theme park encompassing a wide variety of wet and dry attractions, and is one of four major theme parks in Victoria. Due to Melbourne's climate and the water related nature of several of its attractions, the park closes during the colder winter months. Its newest attractions have been the Supanova water slide in December 2022, a heated outdoor wave pool, named Volcano Beach, in December 2018, the Gravity Wave water slide, and the Voodoo pendulum ride, both of which opened in October 2017.
Ocean Parade is a themed land at the Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It features 3 of the Big 7 Thrill Rides at Dreamworld, The Claw, The Gold Coaster and Tail Spin, which are within close proximity of each other. Ocean Parade has an Australian beach culture theme, and has beach-themed rides scattered around the area. It currently provides a link between Main Street, Kenny and Belinda's Dreamland, and the adjacent water park WhiteWater World.
Kennyland was a themed area at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. It was an area featuring a variety of children's attractions from 1999 until 2002 at which time it was replaced with a larger Nickelodeon-themed area called Nickelodeon Central.
DreamWorks Experience was a themed land at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It contained attractions themed to DreamWorks Animation films. The land was formerly themed to Nickelodeon properties.
The history of Dreamworld dates back to the mid-1970s when John Longhurst envisioned the future theme park. After a seven-year construction period, Dreamworld officially opened to the public on 15 December 1981. Now owned by publicly listed Ardent Leisure, the park has seen many expansions, closures and replacements over its 30-year history.
Seal Harbour is a seal and sea lion exhibit at the Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. It officially opened to the public in January 2013.
