Nigel Gordon Helm Draffan (born 1 September 1950) is an English former first-class cricketer.
Draffan was in September 1950 born at Nakuru in what was then British-administered Kenya Colony. He was educated in England at Malvern College, [1] before going up to Emmanuel College,Cambridge. [2] While studying at Cambridge,Draffan played first-class cricket on four occasions for Cambridge University in 1971–72, [3] struggling against the county opposition he faced by scoring just 35 runs from 7 innings. [4] In addition to playing first-class cricket for Cambridge,he also represented the university in two List A one-day matches against Leicestershire and Northamptonshire in the 1972 Benson &Hedges Cup, [5] scoring 33 runs. [6] Alongside his cricket,Draffan also played field hockey and rackets for the university for which he gained a blue and half-blue respectively. [1]
Draffan is currently the managing agent for Savills of the Angmering Park estate near Arundel,having previously been estate director for the Goodwood Estate. [7] He is also a trustee of the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation. [8]

Ronald Aird was an English first-class cricketer,cricket administrator and British Army officer. Aird began his first-class cricket career with Hampshire County Cricket Club in 1920,making over 100 appearances for the county in which he scored over 3,600 runs. After also playing first-class cricket for Cambridge University Cricket Club while studying at Clare College,Aird was appointed assistant secretary of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 1926,which restricted his appearances in first-class cricket thereafter. He served as assistant secretary under William Findlay and Rowan Rait Kerr,and was himself elected secretary following Kerr's retirement in 1952. Aird remained in the post until 1962 and became MCC president in 1968,the year in which he chaired the special general meeting of the MCC over relations with South Africa during the D'Oliveira affair. He later served as president of Hampshire County Cricket Club from 1971 to 1983. Outside of cricket,Aird served in the Second World War with the Royal Armoured Corps and was decorated with the Military Cross.
Stephen Cox Newton was an English cricketer who represented,and captained,Somerset County Cricket Club in the late 19th century. During a 14-year first-class cricket career,he also represented Cambridge University,Middlesex and the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
