Niger South senatorial district Also known as Kin-Nupe or Nupe Kingdom is an electoral district for the Senate of Nigeria, and is Zone A within Niger State. Peter Jiya Ndalikali of the People democracy party (PDP) is the current senator. [1] [2] [3] The Niger South senatorial district covers 8 local government areas which includes:

  4. Gbako local government area
  5. Katcha local government area
  6. Lapai local government area
  7. Lavun local government area
  8. Mokwa local government area

Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi of the All Progressives Congress is the current representative of Niger North in the Senate. Niger North senatorial district conceals 8 local government areas which includes:

  4. Magama Local Government Area
  5. Mariga Local Government Area
  6. Mashegu Local Government Area

Anambra North senatorial district in Anambra State covers seven local government areas which include Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Oyi, Ogbaru, Anambra East, Anambra West and Ayamelum. There are 1,392 Polling Units (Pus) and 99 Registration Areas (RAs). Onitsha North LGA INEC Office is the collation centre. A president of the 4th Senate between 1999 and 2000, Chuba Okadigbo is from this district. Tony Nwoye is the current Senator of this senatorial district.

The 2023 Niger State gubernatorial election will take place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Niger State, concurrent with elections to the Niger State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent APC Governor Abubakar Sani Bello is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term.

The 2019 Nigerian Senate election in Niger State held on February 23, 2019, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Niger State. Sani Mohammed Musa representing Niger East, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi representing Niger North and Bima Muhammad Enagi representing Niger South all won on the platform of the platform of All Progressives Congress.
