Kano State is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. According to the national census done in 2006, Kano State is the most populous state in Nigeria. It is among twelve private universities approved to be established by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on April 6, 2022. It became licensed by the Nigeria .Universities Commission (NUC) in May 2022.
