Nocturnes is the second studio album from Uh Huh Her, which was released on October 11, 2011 worldwide. The album had four singles and music videos, "Another Case", "Disdain", "Wake To Sleep" and most recently, "Human Nature".
In September 2011, the band announced the release of the album for October 11. [1] On September 15, the band broadcast a trailer of the album, [2] which featured two songs - "Another Case" and "Same High".
The album is produced by and features Wendy Melvoin of Wendy & Lisa. [3]
On January 9, the band was invited on Jimmy Kimmel's show to perform the songs "Marstorm" and "Disdain". [4] The video gained 12,000 views in three days.
Meanwhile, a Nocturnes tour was planned all over America and in Europe in countries such as U.K, Netherlands, known as the Keep A Breast Tour to raise awareness, [1] going from March 2011 to May 2012 with over 40 dates.
Camila Grey, the band's singer, states that the album's title refers to night and darkness, while Leisha Hailey explains that it's about things you work out when you're asleep.
Unlike Common Reaction, Nocturnes was written without the help of a manager and producer, with funds being raised money for the album by selling goodies, painting, and finally recorded the album "with no pressure" as Hailey says. [3]
The release of Nocturnes was kicked off with a music video for the song Another Case. [5] Music videos were also released for Wake To Sleep, Debris, and Human Nature.
The song "Same High" appears on the soundtrack of the comedy-drama film The Kids Are All Right [6] and the song "Time Stand Still" appears on the soundtrack of the TV show The Secret Circle .

Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and former lead singer Tarja Turunen. The band soon picked up drummer Jukka Nevalainen, and then bassist Sami Vänskä after the release of their debut album, Angels Fall First (1997). In 2001, Vänskä was replaced by Marko Hietala, who also took over the male vocalist role previously filled by Holopainen or guest singers.
Leisha Hailey is an American actress and musician known for playing Alice Pieszecki in the Showtime Networks series The L Word and The L Word: Generation Q. Hailey first came to the public's attention as a musician in the pop duo The Murmurs and has continued her music career as part of the band Uh Huh Her. Leisha is known for being a queer actress. Currently, the actress works as Alice in "The L Word: Generation Q", and hosts podcast, PANTS with fellow L Word star and close friend, Kate Moennig.
Wendy & Lisa are a music duo consisting of Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. They began working with Prince in the early 1980s and were part of his band The Revolution, before branching out on their own and releasing their debut album in 1987. In recent years they have turned their attention to writing music for film and television and have won an Emmy Award.

Huh Chan-mi, is a South Korean singer. Huh first made her debut as a member of a South Korean co-ed group Coed School in 2010 and following the co-ed group were split, Huh later became the girl unit F-ve Dolls in 2011 until her departure from the group in February 2012.
