The Nokia 800 Tough is a Nokia-branded mobile phone developed by HMD Global. It was preceded by the Nokia 2720 Flip. It can survive a free fall from up to 1.8 meters (6'), is IP68 rated and conforms to MIL-STD-810G standard. It runs on the KaiOS operating system, and has a non-removable battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh. [1] [2] [3]

It was unveiled at IFA 2019 together with the Nokia 110 (2019), Nokia 2720 Flip, Nokia 6.2, and Nokia 7.2.

Series 40, often shortened as S40, is a software platform and application user interface (UI) software on Nokia's broad range of mid-tier feature phones, as well as on some of the Vertu line of luxury phones. It was one of the world's most widely used mobile phone platforms and found in hundreds of millions of devices. Nokia announced on 25 January 2012 that the company has sold over 1.5 billion Series 40 devices. It was not used for smartphones, with Nokia turning first to Symbian, then in 2012–2017 to Windows Phone, and most recently Android. However, in 2012 and 2013, several Series 40 phones from the Asha line, such as the 308, 309 and 311, were advertised as "smartphones" although they do not actually support smartphone features like multitasking or a fully fledged HTML browser.

Nokia Lumia 710

Nokia Lumia 710 is a Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Its release is part of a change in company's direction which has resulted in a shift from Symbian platform towards Windows Phone for smartphones. While the Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 target the high-end of the smartphone marketplace, the Lumia 610 and Lumia 710 are aimed at the mid-range price point. This generation of Lumia phones ship with Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango". Its design is almost the same as the Symbian Nokia 603, announced just over a week earlier.

Microsoft Mobile was a subsidiary of Microsoft involved in the development and manufacturing of mobile phones. Based in Espoo, Finland, it was established in 2014 following the acquisition of Nokia's Devices and Services division by Microsoft in a deal valued at €5.4 billion, which was completed in April 2014. Nokia's then-CEO, Stephen Elop, joined Microsoft as president of its Devices division following the acquisition, and the acquisition was part of Steve Ballmer's strategy to turn Microsoft into a "devices and services" company. Under a 10-year licensing agreement, Microsoft Mobile held rights to sell feature phones running the S30+ platform under the Nokia brand.

KaiOS Mobile operating system based upon Firefox OS

KaiOS is a mobile operating system, based on Linux, for keypad feature phones. It is developed by KaiOS Technologies Limited; a company based in Hong Kong, with largest shareholder being Chinese multinational electronics conglomerate TCL Corporation. KaiOS runs on feature phones made with low-power hardware and low power consumption. KaiOS supports modern connectivity technologies like 4G LTE E, VoLTE, GPS, and Wi-Fi. KaiOS runs HTML5-based apps. KaiOS supports over-the-air updates and has a dedicated app marketplace (KaiStore). Some applications are preloaded, including Facebook and YouTube. As of 1 April 2020, there are 500+ apps in KaiStore. The mobile operating system is comparatively lightweight on hardware resource usage, and is able to run on devices with just 256 megabytes (MB) of memory.

The Nokia 6.2 is an Android smartphone designed by HMD Global. It was announced on the 6th of September 2019, at IFA 2019 launching at €199/€249 for the two different models.

The Nokia 7.2 is a Nokia branded Android smartphone announced on 6 September at IFA 2019. At launch, prices started at $349 (£249) for the cheapest model.

Nokia 2720 Flip

The Nokia 2720 Flip is a Nokia-branded flip phone developed by HMD Global. The 2720 Flip was created as an updated version of the Nokia 2720 Fold which debuted in 2009. It was unveiled at IFA 2019 together with the Nokia 110, Nokia 800 Tough, Nokia 6.2, and Nokia 7.2. It runs the KaiOS operating system, a web based operating system based on B2G OS.
