Nolan Hickman Jr. (born May 7, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference (WCC).
Hickman played basketball for Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington. As a sophomore, he helped his team reach the Class 3A state semifinals. In his junior season, he averaged about 17 points and three assists per game. Hickman competed for Seattle Rotary on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit. [1] For his final season, he transferred to Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah. [2] As a senior, he averaged 16 points, 5.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. He was named to the McDonald's All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic rosters and won the Utah Gatorade Player of the Year award. [3]
Hickman was considered a five-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals, and a four-star recruit by 247Sports. He was one of the highest-ranked point guards in the 2021 class. [4] Hickman originally committed to playing college basketball for Kentucky but later decommitted and was granted a full release from his National Letter of Intent. [5] On May 15, 2021, he committed to Gonzaga over offers from Kansas and Auburn. [6]

Hickman averaged 5.1 points and 1.5 assists per game. [7] He was named to the West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team. [8] As a sophomore, Hickman averaged 7.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. [9] He was named to the Second Team All-West Coast Conference as a junior. [10]

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are an intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Gonzaga University. The school competes in the West Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Gonzaga Bulldogs play home basketball games at the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington, on the university campus.
Tyler Haws is an American professional basketball player. Haws was a standout high school basketball player, becoming the all-time leading scorer at his school, being twice named Utah's Mr. Basketball, and winning Utah's Gatorade Player of the Year. At Brigham Young University (BYU), Haws was named the 2014 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year and set the school record for career points.
Courtney Vandersloot is an American and Hungarian basketball point guard for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for Fenerbahçe in the EuroLeague Women. Drafted by the Chicago Sky with the third pick in the 2011 WNBA draft, she was selected as an All-Star and named to the All-Rookie Team in her rookie year. She was named an All-Star again in 2019, 2021 and 2023, and led the Sky to their first WNBA Championship in 2021. She led the WNBA in assists in 2014 and for five consecutive seasons during 2017–2021, and holds the all-time WNBA records for most assists in a season (300), highest assists-per-game in a season (9.1), and highest career assists-per-game (6.2).
Kyle Gregory Wiltjer is a Canadian-American professional basketball player for Reyer Venezia Mestre of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He spent two seasons of college basketball with the Kentucky Wildcats before transferring to play with the Gonzaga Bulldogs in 2013. A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, he has played for the Canada national team.
Kevin Joseph Pangos is a Canadian-Slovenian professional basketball player for Valencia of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He spent his college basketball career playing for the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference. The 2020–21 BYU Cougars men's basketball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was head coach Mark Pope's second season as BYU's head coach and the Cougars tenth season as members of the West Coast Conference (WCC). The Cougars played their home games at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah. They finished the season 20-7, 10-3 in WCC Play to finish in 2nd place. They beat Pepperdine in the semifinals of the WCC tournament before losing in the championship game to Gonzaga. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the First Round to UCLA.
