Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship

The Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship is the official competition for Women's national handball teams in North America and Caribbean. In addition to crowning the Nor.Ca. champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the Pan American Handball Championship. Starting from the 2019 edition the tournament is a qualifying event for the IHF World Women's Handball Championship.

The Pan-American Team Handball Federation (PATHF) has been the continental governing body for handball, beach handball, wheelchair handball and snow handball in Americas since 23 May 1977. The 2015 NorCA Women's Handball Championship was the first edition of the Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship, which took place in Salinas, Puerto Rico from 30 March to 5 April 2015. It acted as the North America e Caribbean qualifying tournament for the 2015 Pan American Women's Handball Championship.

The Pan American Youth Beach Handball Championship was the official competition for men's and women's youth national beach handball teams of America. In addition to crowning the Pan American champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship. Only two were held as in 2018, the PATHF disbanded and the tournaments were replaced with the North America & the Caribbean and South & Central American championships.

Handball competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, were held from July 24 to August 5. The venue for the competition is the Sports Centre Hall 1 located at the Videna cluster. The venue also hosted judo. A total of eight men's and eight women's teams competed in each tournament. This means a total of 224 athletes are competed.

The 2019 NorCA Women's Handball Championship was the third edition of the Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship. The tournament took place in Mexico City from 28 May to 2 June 2019. It acted as the North American and Caribbean qualifying tournament for the 2019 World Women's Handball Championship.

The 2022 North America and Caribbean Women's Junior Handball Championship was the first edition of the tournament, it took place in Mexico City, Mexico, from 4 to 8 April 2022. It acted as the North America and Caribbean qualifying tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship.

‌The 2023 Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship was the fifth edition of the championship, held from 5 to 11 June 2023 in Nuuk, Greenland under the aegis of North America and Caribbean Handball Confederation. It was the first time in history that the championship is organised by the Greenland Handball Federation and it also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2023 World Women's Handball Championship, with the top team from the championship directly qualifying for the event.
