Nora Mohd Danish Hanif (born 7 March 1982) also known as Nora Danish is a Malaysian actress, singer, host and model.

Background

Nora was born on 7 March 1982 to a parent of Arab and Burmese descent. [1] She was educated at Convent National Secondary School in Kajang.

Career

Her entertainment career started in 2004 when she first appeared in Hotlink Mysterious Girl ads. [2]

She first gained attention in television when she starred a lead role in a comedy sitcom called Puteri. In 2013, Nora appeared in three Malay films Lagenda Budak Hostel, Mencari Cinta & 2 Kalimah.

In June 2014, Nora revealed a few sneak previews on her official Instagram account about her 2014 film Pengantin Malam co-starring Farid Kamil. She also starred with Shaheizy Sam in a blockbuster film Polis Evo. [3]

Personal life

Nora Danish was once married to a businessman Rizal Ashram, on 20 June 2006 but they divorced when she was 3 months pregnant in July 2008. They have a son. [4]

On 30 March 2017, she remarried to Mohamed Nedim Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz who is the son of the UMNO BN politician, Nazri Aziz. She became the stepmother to his son from his first marriage which ended in a divorce in the year 2013. [5] [6] The couple has a son of their own in February 2018. [7]

Konsert Lentera Timur was a concert residency by Malaysian recording artist, Siti Nurhaliza. Held on four non consecutive nights in September 2013 at Istana Budaya, this was her first concert in which the songs performed were mainly driven by traditional Malay and folk music genres. Many of the songs were taken or derived from her four solo traditional albums: Cindai (1997), Sahmura (2000), Sanggar Mustika (2002) and Lentera Timur (2008). During the course of the four-night concert, she performed more than 30 songs and was backed by 40-piece traditional Malaysian orchestra, Orkestra Traditional Malaysia (OTM). <i>Polis Evo</i> 2015 Malaysian film

Polis EVO is a 2015 Malaysian Malay-language buddy cop action comedy film directed by Ghaz Abu Bakar and written by Joel Soh, Kyle Goonting, Anwari Ashraf and Adib Zaini. The film casts includes Shaheizy Sam, Zizan Razak, Nora Danish, Mimi Ernida, Harun Salim Bachik, Wan Hanafi Su, Hushairy Hussein, Pablo Amirul, Azliyuszaini Mohd Noor and Amerul Affendi. The film tells the story of two police officers, Inspector Khai and Inspector Sani who have very different personalities but are forced to work together to bring down a drug trafficking operation. The film was released theatrically on September 17, 2015 nationwide.

<i>Polis Evo 2</i> 2018 Malaysian film

Polis Evo 2 is a 2018 Malaysian Malay-language buddy cop action film directed by Joel Soh and Andre Chiew, starring Zizan Razak and Shaheizy Sam reprise their respective roles, with Indonesian actress Raline Shah joined them as the main cast. It revolves Malaysian and Indonesian police to crippled a group of terrorists attacking a hostile village and detaining residents as the hostages. The film was released on 22 November 2018 and is a sequel to the 2015 film of the same title. In December 2018, Polis Evo 2 was listed by the local Malaysian newspaper Harian Metro as among the top 10 local films in Malaysian history. A third sequel of the film was released in May 2023 with Syafiq Yusof took the role as the director.

Polis Evo 3 is a 2023 Malaysian Malay-language buddy cop action comedy film directed by Syafiq Yusof, starring Zizan Razak and Shaheizy Sam reprise their respective roles, with Sharnaaz Ahmad joined them as the main antagonist. A sequel to Polis Evo (2015) and Polis Evo 2 (2018), the film is the third installment in the Polis Evo film series.
