The Shout! Awards was an entertainment award show created to celebrate the Malaysian entertainment scene which was said (at the time) had rapidly developed. The award recognised people of music, television, film and radio industry as well as the entertainment industry as a whole.

There were 16 award categories including the biggest title - The Ultimate Shout! Award. The nominees were voted by the public online except for the Ultimate Shout! Award where it was decided by the judges.

Shout! Awards 2009

The first ever Shout! Awards was held on 17 July 2009 and was aired live on 8TV. The voting started from 8 June and ended on 16 July 2009.

Shout! Awards 2010

The second edition of Shout! Awards was held on 20 November 2010 at Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. [1] Like the previous year, the award was aired live on 8TV. The voting session started on 18 October 2010 and ended on 20 November 2010. Xpax, Celcom's brand for prepaid mobile services which is also a sponsor for the edition, also introduced a new award called Mobile Artist of The Year Award. [1]

During that night, then-newcomer singer-songwriter, Yuna was awarded the Ultimate Shout! Award, an award given to the artist who had created a scene or phenomena in the entertainment industries. The award was presented to her by the 2009's recipient, Bunkface.

Besides being awarded with the highest recognition, Yuna also won another two awards, Popstar Award (Pop Award) as well as Break Out Award (Best New Act); making her the biggest winner on that night with three awards in total. She was then followed by local indie band, Bunkface who picked up two awards; Rockstar Award (Rock Award) and Music Video Award (Best Music Video) for 'Prom Queen'.

Shout! Awards 2012

The third and last known edition of Shout! Awards was held on 23 November 2012 at the Surf Beach at Sunway Lagoon, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The original date was 24 November 2012; the new date was made in September 2012. This is the first time Shout Awards was held in an open place [2] Nominees for the edition was announced on 19 October 2012 while the votings was started on 22 October 2012. The edition was aired live on 8TV and repeated the next day on TV9 at 10:30 pm.

The edition introduced two new awards, both of them are related to social media and placed in the Social Media category. The Shout! Aloud Award is given to Malaysians who contribute content to the social media such as vlogs while the Wired Celebrity Award is given to Malaysian celebrities who have become popular through the social media.

The Ultimate Prom Nite is a Malaysian reality television series produced and broadcast by 8TV in collaboration with cosmetics brand Nivea. As the "inter-college prom event", it aims to seek for the "Ultimate Prom King and Queen" among male and female students, respectively, of various higher learning institutions throughout the country.

Within the video game industry there are several awards that are given to individual video games, development studios, and other individuals to recognize their merit. Most video game awards are given out on an annual basis, celebrating the best games of the previous year. Most of these awards come from organizations directly within the industry, but there also exist several that come from broader media groups. <i>Survivor Philippines</i> Philippine television show

Survivor Philippines is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by GMA Network. The show is the Philippine version of the television series Survivor. Originally hosted by Paolo Bediones, it premiered on September 15, 2008, on the network's Telebabad line up. The show concluded on February 19, 2012, with a total of 269 episodes and 4 seasons. Bunkface is a Malaysian rock band formed in 2006. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sam , bass guitarist Youk , and lead guitarist Paan .The name Bunkface was suggested by Biak which was influenced from the Sum 41 song titled "Crazy Amanda Bunkface". Popular songs by Bunkface include Silly Lily, Situasi, Revolusi, Prom Queen, Through My Window, Ekstravaganza, Rentak Laguku, Malam Ini Kita Punya, Darah Muda and Masih Di Sini. Their fanbase are called "Bunkers".

The Equity Ensemble Awards are an Australian awards system, that is an accolade presented by The Equity Foundation, the performers branch of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA). The awards have been presented annually since 2011, and are awarded to a cast in a television drama series, comedy series and television movie or miniseries. The awards are peer voted, via a secret ballot, by members of the Equity Foundation. MeleTOP is a Malaysian television infotainment talk show and variety show aired weekly on Astro Ria. From its debut in 2012, it was hosted by the same two presenters, female host Neelofa, and male host Nabil Ahmad, until Neelofa left in 2019. It has held the annual Anugerah MeleTOP ERA jointly with Malaysian radio station, ERA since 2013.
