The Northwestern Wildcats men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, United States. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Northwestern's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1980. The team plays its home games at Martin Stadium in Evanston, which opened in 2016. The Cats are coached by Russell Payne.

Russell Payne is an American soccer coach and former player. Payne is a former goalkeeper who is currently the head coach of the Northwestern Wildcats men's soccer team. He played professionally in Germany, Ireland and Major League Soccer.
Werner Robert Voigts was an American football and basketball player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Northwestern University from 1947 to 1954, compiling a record of 33–39–1. Voigts led the 1948 Northwestern Wildcats team to the Rose Bowl, the first in school history, where they defeated California, 20–14.
Glenn "Mooch" Myernick was an American soccer player and coach. He won the 1976 Hermann Trophy as that year’s outstanding collegiate player. He then spent eight seasons in the North American Soccer League and one in Major Indoor Soccer League. Myernick also earned 10 caps with the U.S. national team. After retiring from playing professionally, Myernick spent over twenty years as a professional and national team coach.
William Jeffrey was the head coach of the 1950 United States World Cup team that famously beat England 1-0 in one of the greatest upsets in the history of soccer. He was the coach of Penn State for 26 seasons, winning ten national college championships. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Anibal “Steve” Armas is a retired American soccer midfielder who is a currently Associate Head Coach for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer program. Armas previously spent one season in Major League Soccer and several seasons in the United Soccer Leagues. He was a member of the United States U-17 men's national soccer team at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Coaching wise he served as a head and assistant coach at Campbell University, Greensboro College and the Carolina Dynamo.
Omid Hamid Namazi Zadeh is an American retired soccer defender who is currently an assistant coach and the director of scouting for USL Championship club Hartford Athletic. Namazi played professionally in the American Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League, Major League Soccer, USISL and National Professional Soccer League where he was the 2001 Defender of the Year and he played for United States national futsal team. He is a two-time Coach of the Year in the Major Indoor Soccer League and coached in the Women's United Soccer Association. As assistant coach of Iran, he led the team to qualification to the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
The South Florida Bulls men's soccer team represents the University of South Florida in the sport of soccer. The Bulls currently compete in the American Athletic Conference within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). USF plays in Corbett Stadium, which opened in 2011 and is also used by the USF women's soccer team. Danielle Victoria Slaton is an American retired professional soccer player. She is currently a soccer analyst for the San Jose Earthquakes, Fox Sports and the Pac-12 Network. A five-year member of the United States women's national soccer team from 2000-2005, Slaton also played for the Carolina Courage in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) and was named the league's Defender of the Year. She went on to play for the French club Olympique Lyonnais where she was a starting defender on the team in the Division 1 Féminine.

The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). NIU men's soccer started playing in 1962 and has appeared in the NCAA Tournament four times.
