Nossa Senhora das Dores [2] ("Our Lady of Sorrows") is a bairro in the District of Sede in the municipality of Santa Maria, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is located in northeast Santa Maria.
A bairro is a Portuguese word for a quarter or a neighborhood or, sometimes, a district within a city or town. Sede ("Seat") is a district of the municipality of Santa Maria, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is situated in the north portion of Santa Maria. Downtown Santa Maria is one of its bairros (neighbourhoods).
