Nossa nagaensis is a moth in the family Epicopeiidae first described by Henry John Elwes in 1890. It is found in the Indian state of Assam. [1]

Chestnut-vented nuthatch Species of bird

The chestnut-vented nuthatch is a species of bird in the nuthatch family Sittidae. It is a medium-sized nuthatch, measuring 12.5–14 cm (4.9–5.5 in) in length. The upperparts are a solid gray blue, with a markedly black loral stripe. The underparts are uniform gray to buff from the throat to belly, with brick red on the flanks. The undertail is white with a rufous border. The chestnut-vented nuthatch utters different kinds of calls, which can sometimes sound like a troglodyte alarm, and its song is a monotonous, stereotypical crackle, typically chichichichi. Its ecology is poorly known, but it probably feeds on small arthropods and seeds, and the breeding season begins between March and May. The nest is typically located in a hole in the trunk of a tree, and the clutch has two to five eggs.

Nazaré, Bahia Municipality in Nordeste, Brazil

Nazaré, also known as Nazaré das Farinhas, is a municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil. The municipality has a population of 28,594 with a population density of 107 inhabitants per square kilometer. It is located 110 km (68 mi) from the state capital of Bahia, Salvador. Nazaré is within the Bahian Recôncavo, an interior region of the state of Bahia. It borders the municipalities of Muniz Ferreira, Aratuípe, Jaguaripe, São Felipe, and Maragogipe. The Jaguaripe River crosses through the middle of the town. It is sits on the intersection of two Bahian state highways, BA-001 and BA-046.

Schistura nagaensis is a species of ray-finned fish, a stone loach, in the genus Schistura. It is a benthic species which is found in hill streams with a fast currents over a gravel substrate. It occurs in the Tizu River in the Chindwin basin of Manipur and Nagaland, it may also occur in the Tizu River in Myanmar. Slash and burn cultivation within the drainage of the Tizu has contributed to a decline in quality of hill stream habitats and resultant threats to fish populations which are also threatened by destructive fishing techniques including the use of explosives and poisons.
